  1. Good day everyone,

First of all i want to thank all the modders for creating already some great mods. I might delve into modding myself if i can find a how to

Now onto the topi, I have some mod idea's/requests that i would love to see in the game. I'm sure some of these might be far fatched without proper modding tools of course.

First idea has to do with trading/investing

I've stumbled on this mod that allows you to invest into land, i tought it would be a fun to expand this idea. If the you and the NPC's are able to invest in more things like say workshops, shops and caravans,...

This way when if you or the NPC are low on $$ he can invest small $ to get a steady trickle of $ without having to need to pay for a big upfront cost of buying a workshop.

It would be lovely that investing and owning workshops/cravans would also give you xp in trading (one can dream i guess)

An addional idea might be that the player can open his own shop and set his own prices

    Secon idea: Crafting & Materials

I've seen quite a bit of crafting mods going around right now. Some of them look promising to say the least. But i still think Bannerlord crafting is on the weak side.

The ability to craft your own bows, crossbows, armour and more would have course be a welcome addition to the game. But i do believe this idea might be impossible without proper tools.

Another idea/tweak is the ability to bulk craft/refine items. I'm pretty sure a lot of you are sitting on top of tons of hardwood but having to click 50+ times to convert even a tiny portion of it is a PITA (pain in the ass).

Adding to this is the lack of being able to craft all types of metals, i'm in dire need of some Thamaskene steel so being able to craft this would be lovely.

Last but not least we should be able to buy more crafting materials in the shops like Thamaskene ore or charcoal,...

    Last idea: armours

Now onto the last topic armours and it's effects. Most of us seem to agree that armours in this game needs some rework, hence the plethora of armour mods.

But most of these mods do similar thing, they chance weapon values fe Rock doing cut instead of blunt damage Or they massivly increase the armour value itself.

My idea, and i think it might only be possible if we have modding tools. Is to redesign armour protection values. What do i mean i hear you ask.

Instead of armours having just a big number, give them like weapons different protection values.

How it works now in Vanilla: Amour Chest 40 | Arm 10 | Leg 10

    How i wish it works: Armour Chest 40CP, 25BP, 30PP | Arm 10CP, 5BP, 5PP | Leg 10CP, 5BP, 5PP

CP: cut protection, BP: Blunt protection, PP: pierce protection

What this would do is that the game will calculate if get hit, it would calculate if the protection threshold has been overcome or not.

It then calculates how much and thus it will distribute the damage, it is similar how it works now but still different.

This in theory willmake it so that certain weapons will be useless against certain armours.

In terms of balance i would make it so that no armour has a perfect protection against everything and secondly is to ramp up the price and lower the drop rate of highend armours.

Thank for taking your time reading this, feel free to discuss my idea's break them down or downright trash them ;-) all feedback is welcome ^^

Yes, MO is a superior product, but it also has a steep learning curve that casual users generally don't want to take the time to learn. If you really can bridge that gap, I'll be duly impressed.

Of course, I don't relish the idea of having to re-install my Skyrim mod setup yet again, but such is life :)

MO organizer wasn't really any special to use, it was practically the same installation as NMM for most mods
  3. Well as a premium I can't really fuss about ads anymore but I was free member for a long time, so how much space will the ad side bars take up and will the site dynamically adjust to take as much screen estate as possible when using bigger screen or when not having the ads, otherwise from what you've shown us it does look very neat :)

I think they did it for mod preservation , as filefront is closing down, if there is a real problem contact them, i'm pretty sure the nexus team is willing to help you

Dislike against "console mods" is a thing? Like a real thing? Not something made up like "Homophobia" or "Islamicphobia" or something? I mean, I've never felt anything but sorry for people who had no other option but to use the console - mods are the reason I stopped playing on the X-Box (other then occasionally) and play games on the computer instead. If consoles can use mods too - which is big news - then it only means the community grows even larger. Isn't that a good thing?

Why would the idea of "console modding" annoy anybody? I still have trouble believing that it's a real thing - at least the way the Dark0ne describes. If you don't use a console, then what real difference to you is it going to make? And if you do, wouldn't it be a good thing? I mean the atrocious (read British) spelling on Nexus annoys me far more then the concept of "console modding" and I download from Nexus nearly every week (use to be everyday before work-life increased).

As to mod theft, it's a very ugly thing for someone to do, but I don't really see how "console modding" really affects that one way or the other. If people are going to steal, they are going to do regardless of consoles being able to mod. And while "stealing" someone's mod - which I understand is really stealing the credit for creating said mod - is certainly wrong, it's not like anyone is getting paid for it - so I can understand why Bethsaida wouldn't care much. I mean, when people over in Asia were downloading mods and SELLING them on disks in stores, I could understand the outrage - but in this case, a few sleazy types are just fooling new gullible console users into thinking that the sleazebags made the mod when it was in fact someone else. A rather sleazy thing to do just to try to get your 15 minutes of fame, but it's not really hurting anyone. Eventually the console users will gain experience and these sleazy types will have to move on.

Don't get me wrong, I think its bad, but it's not exactly a crisis. I mean, if it means that much, the original authors (or someone) can PM every user that downloads a "stolen" mod and tell them who the actual credit belongs too.

Yes hate against console mods a thing, i think the grudge for some people start because of , 1. Console exclusives 2. Console fanboy-ism shitting on PC and mods (aka mods are cheats) 3. The ungratefulness of console users etc etc but some people take these thing rather serious and that how "hate" can start manifesting itself

I know you have some important points to make, but there's a lot of brush to clear to find them. Please, in the future, edit before you publish. Provide an introduction that previews your main points, develop those points in the body, and finish with a summary. Go through each line (or at least each paragraph) and ask yourself, "Does this need to be here? Can it be shortened or reworded, to make the point more concisely?"

Try saying in a few words what you've said here in 5,127. You have to grab your readers' attention, get your message across, and wrap it up as quickly as the subject allows.

Sorry for the unsolicited advice. I only want to help you write articles that will impact your audience.

These posts have always been a practical opinion-dump on my part. Almost as though you're reading what I would have said out loud, unedited and uncut. My honest opinion.

Believe it or not these articles do go through extensive editing, reworking of paragraphs, the removal of others and reorganising the structure, so the end result is exactly how I wanted the article to read.

All in all, it took about 6 hours to write and edit this particular article.

I tough it was a good article it's written in the style "I'm in front of you talking". I really think it's a good read, a bit long but for a subject like this I'm rather certain that being short would leave to much for interpretation and that is something you want to avoid. I do think he should have added a TLDR; at the end as a lot of people... dislike reading unlike me :p

download another skin for unp

i love mature skin for UNP. (it has a young option too)

Quick question(slighly off topic), do you use MO with Mature skin cause i still have a "neck seam"/texture mismatcht issue >_> (i'll create a topic if there isn't an already existing topiv about it)

On Topic, i'm using mature skin don't really see any blurred stuff

    no i dont use, MO.

for the mismatch you can use texblend.

theres a tutorial how to, and it will get rid off your neck seam for sure if you do it step by step.

Hmmm if you can link me to that tutorial on how to do it in MO i would be happy. I know how to use texblend normally but idk if it's any different with MO cause i've tried to text blend several times and i still have the mismatch issue(so idk if i'm doing it right)

  8. My dream mods let's see

-An all in one body mod installer (contains CBBE, UNP,...) so no more topics about neck seams issues because this mod "fixes" that

-A quest mod "Dragonborn as highking" , kick thalmor ass , give skyrim back to the Nords but still befriend the Imperials as allies(show them that they actually won the war and not the other way around), This mod should include recruiting, buidign your own "town"(heart-fire needed ofc) ,... if you want a more specified explanaition you can always try to PM me

-A magic overhaul mod: make magic act like in Eragon first it drains magicka then stamina(rate *2 or more) and after that it drains health(rate *5 or more) this also make that magic get's buffed but magicka regen debuffed. Spell will now get a status(novicce, apprientice, advanced, expert, master)(fe firball -novice status(aka 0 -50 times used) basic cost -master status (aka 500+ times used) only 10% of it's of basic cost damage is sligtly buffed too). Possibilty to imbue amulets, rings,...with magicka so when i need of a massive pool of magicka you can always rely on those items to restore magicka. I do know tha PUMS slightly cover these part but as a standalone for all magic mods.

  9. Seems i kinda have the same problem, trying to use Mature skin(they don't look old btw  ) but i just don't find any guide on how to properly texture blend with Mod Organizer, don't think i had any issue whilst i was using NMM a year ago or so.

    Body mods i use

(Bean Baddass Women change most of female followers to something more baddass ^^)

-Bella's better females(if installed deinstalled it not really any noticiable difference expect that my face is slightly smoothe)

    -Cover Women(eyes and lips)

    -Unp standard

    -Mature skin

    -No more ugly bronze shine

    ScreenShot

    ScreenShot

    ScreenShot

    ScreenShot

    ScreenShot

    Why yu so shiny

    ScreenShot

Somehow you don't have aby beck seam tryign to screw me?

My guess is 1) i texture blended not right 2)Lighting issue(shiny body or no neckseam/texture mismatch)

So if someone own an archive that uses UNP+Mature skin and has no neck seam please be free to share ^^

  10. download another skin for unp

  11. We'll hes sneaking anyway so why no invest in it? I mean th muffled boots always work but not alywas as they should, and if you meant don't invest in sneak because there are not enough skill point there are mod that fix that (aka souls to perks (it included with deadly dragons too))

  12. The Steed stone can help indeed but i pefer the thieves stone(=25% faster training in all sneak skills ) and the guy has propably an other stone selected because he's a BattleMage but invisibilit is better :D you canmake as much noise as you want they'll never see you so you'll never get detected Xd and for a battlemage this is a viable option or a trick from oblivion (idk if this still works) wear fur shoes ^^

  13. You should watch a gopher video "there

My suggestion : Do something about lag.

The site is litteraly UNUSABLE ! Absolutly no page, no mod, no description nor file is loading. And it's like the 15th it happens in the whole same day and everyday.

Nexus is an enormous site, you can't keep things going like this. You need a faster server or something but do a little thing about this. It's totaly annoying and we, users, can't use the site in this way.

I bet this is the most urgent problem of the website and admins should pay it the best attention. Maybe make the site lighter with less pop-up, advertisings, etc ?

Well, in any ways, it needs to change to reduce the lag. It's been hours we cannot access anything and it happens the entire day.

Thanks for the attention and good luck on fixing this.

Whatch Gopher vids they already change to faster server but sometimed(well a lot) the site comes under attack by some douches and that why the site runs slow

On other days the site runs really smooth...

  14. A cool mod idea i got from PUMS that i really want to get added to Vanilla skyrim is that when magicka depletes you will start using stamina and health and if you're not carefull you'll die :p and the 2nd cool thing of that mod was charging items with magicka (aka as a reserve) this would be really cool.

  15. Idk if i should make this new topic or not but (I was kind of to lazy to look/search in 100+ topics you can always show me where to find the corresponding topic if you do know it) so here it goes

Some of my suggestions that might be usefull

A little idea for the Tracking Centre on the Nexus

    1) A way sort by the day you added

    2) an icon(,...) that show you if you have this mod installed (works on par with th NMM)

3)For both Tracking centre and NMM a way to create a separate modlist for each PC

I Don't know if this has already been implemented/possible or not

Greets - Feel free to add some of your Suggestion/idea's

And another little idea of mine for the NMM

Separate Modlist for Character so you don't need to manually seek each tim what mod you need to enable/disable

  16. Muffle is a spell indeed forgot what school it was too but there is a Sneak perk that let your armor make less noise too. But you'll see it for yourself ;) as i don't play Skyrim that much(aka lack of time) but in the "past" i've made all kind of characters My main was became All in 1,i started off with 1handed+restoration(as nord) 2nd character was a woodelf (archery +sneak) 3th was a high elf(all magics(good mod might be euh... http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13450/?= no need to cast those armor spells anymore)) after that i starte using SkyRe+Frostfall and well made allmost the same kind of chars but with a specialisation So if you have a stupid question feel free to ask i'll try to respond asap ^^ a cool type i made for a friend once was a bound bow archer -thief :p
