  1. I like playing on survival as it makes the game more what a post apocalyptic world should be, but the sleep only saving is annoying, and the quick-save mods takes away all the difficulty. I was thinking of a mod that would let you quicksave in a way similar to how estus flask work in the dark souls franchise. You would start out with only a 3 quicksaves, but they would reset to 3 each time you interacted with a workbench or rested in an owned bed(like at a hotel). This would let you save while out scavenging, but would still limit you so that it isn't too overpowered. It would still encourage you to develop more settlements since each settlement would be a a safe haven that will let you save more in the future. You could somehow buy or craft more maximum quicksaves over time as the game progresses, letting you become slightly less dependent on settlements, while still having to go and rest somewhere familiar once in a while. I'm currently doing something similar in my game with the quicksaving mod, but it's still just all in my head and an actual management and upgrade system in place would make it much more exciting and much less like I'm playing pretend in my head.
  2. I was wondering if anyone made or wanted to make a mod that would let you toggle something to prevent you from resting at bonfires. The things is I want to do a no bonfire run, but guarantee you that I'll accidentally rest at a bonfire simply because of habit ruining the whole flipping thing. Hence why I'm asking for a moron-proof mod, the moron in question here, being me and everyone else that is easily distracted.
  3. A bit late, but I second OP here, currently you can buy a million dollar car, spend hundreds of thousands pimping it up only to lose it because you went on a mission or it got destroyed. the 48 min impound destruction seems a bit harsh, maybe it could buy an upgrade on a car that could automatically deduct a small amount from your bank and spawn the car in you garage when destroyed. The mechanic seems like a good idea too, I feel stupid having to steal shitty cars when I have a really good one waiting for me at home. hopefully someone could see that there is a demand for this mod and implement this in a "Better Storage" or some kind of general improvements mod.
