Okay, now I get this... Found Python at 'C:\Python27\python.exe' Launching Wrye Bash in debug mode Wrye Bash starting Python version: 2.7.2 wxPython version: 2.8.12.1 (msw-ansi) input encoding: cp850; output encoding: None; locale: ('en_GB', 'cp1252') basher.py 4835 __init__: Wrye Bash in ANSI Mode But whenever I start Wrye Bash it still gives me Error! Unable to start Wrye Bash. Please ensure Wrye Bash is correctly installed. invalid syntax (bosh.py, line 11389) However, if I launch it in debug mode, it works fine :s

So yeah, whenever I try to start Wrye Bash I get this in the BugDump: Found Python at 'C:\Python25\python.exe' Launching Wrye Bash in debug mode Wrye Bash starting Traceback (most recent call last): File "Wrye Bash Launcher.pyw", line 29, in <module> bash.main() File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\bash\bash.py", line 189, in main if opts.debug: dump_environment() File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\bash\bash.py", line 167, in dump_environment print "Python version: %d.%d.%d" % (sys.version_info.major, sys.version_info.minor, sys.version_info.micro) AttributeError: 'tuple' object has no attribute 'major' I already fixed bash_default to include oblivion's install path, but now this is what it comes up with. Any suggestions? I can't make much sense of it. Thanks in advance guys!

Load order seems Read-Only?

I'm the friend. I'll be here to provide any further information. :P -
I'm guessing it was just a glitch in my CS. :(
-
Well it's not NO TEXTURE, I just said that for quickness. If you scroll to the top (or bottom, depends how you're sorting it) there'll be a texture that says 'NONE'. And Yeah, I've tried several textures, all vanilla, at every quad I could see. It did nothing.
-
I'm using the correct mouse buttons. Edit colours is not checked. Max opacity is set to 100. The ground looks the same in-game. The worldspace I'm editing is Tamriel (Therefore in oblivion.esm) I am not using texture replacers. :(
-
I've tried that exact method. Now the most textures in any one quad are like 2, but it still won't let me paint OR edit the landscape in ANY QUAD. I have no idea why not :(
-
Someone's gonna have to explain this to me. When I try to apply NO texture (like null) it sets most of the cell back to a dirty, grassy colour, some squares to something that looks like pebbles, and it just won't edit some squares at all. It's getting really annoying. Can anyone help me with this?
-
Pretty self explanatory, Reneer had a great idea, it's just a shame that it only works in like 1 out of 10,000 machines. Is there any mod that does the same thing, but is fully functional?
-
Well, you probably know my problem. I'm walking around cyrodiil and I find a quiet little pond, and I think wow - this is a great place for a player abode. So I open up the construction set and I have no idea where the hell it could be within the 34151341 different wilderness cells. Could anyone help me out, or is there some kind of trick to finding the locations?

The lava in my oblivion realm is pink, then black?

DingerDan replied to DingerDan's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
It's cool. It was because of a water shader mod I had installed, and it replaced the oblivionlavarealmtest shader with... Nothing. -

DingerDan replied to DingerDan's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Yeah I thought that too, but any othe oblivion-realm in game works fine, and I'm using the vanilla textures and shaders... Meh. -
Ahh s*** yeah, nVidia... I have an ATi card, but I fogot nVidia does the damn .dds extension.
-
Silverrock01.dds and silverrock01_n.dds both open fine, but when I try to open silverrock01_g.dds, both PDN and Photoshop say it's unsupported. silverrock01_g.dds is the silver overlay texture for the silver veins. Does anyone know why I can't open it, and how I COULD open it?

Someone please copy/paste me this .ini?
DingerDan replied to DingerDan's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Yeah it crashes when I try to change them. Like when I try to save the settings. And yeah I've tried that, but again, it doesn't set them to the very lowest that way. It still has large texture sizes, good shadows etc and that's what's bringing the damn IGP to it's knees -
is it maybe as simple as something like Stop Animation? I'm no scripter, but this is what common sense lead me to believe

DingerDan replied to DingerDan's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
I know.. But it won't be the lowest settings. Something tells me you didn't read the description. -
Because my copy of oblivion crashes every time I try to change the graphics setting (not really interested in fixing it) I wonder if it would be too much bother for someone to set their graphic setting to the VERY LOWEST IT CAN GET and paste it to me. THE VERY LOWEST. I'm not looking for eyecandy, I just installed Oblivion on my girlfriend's awful laptop just to be able to work on my mods, and it lags to a horrific extent. I figure it'd be a lot better if I could change the settings, but... I can't. So if someone could please help me out, that'd be great :D
-
In that case. try a technical drawing package, it might not give you a whole lot of artistic functionality, but for precise grids you it's the best you're gonna get. Otherwise, try GIMP :P

I think TES4EDIT can do that ^^
-
I really hope someone can help us with this.

Dynamic Oblivion: Tamriel United
DingerDan replied to DingerDan's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
I've played every TES game, and I think I could provide a pretty insightful view and interpretation on the styles, but as I said, collaboration is the key to this project. If you (or if anyone does, really) want to help, please please please please PLEASE sign up to the forums.
