This was replied to in either a post or a message and I closed it intending to get back to that person and now I can't find the reply

So this is a question and a request, I guess. Does anyone know if there is a build mode update coming that makes it a little easier to streamline your building? What I mean is something like an overhead or RTS-style camera when building. If that isn't something planned for the game, would it be possible to make a mod for it? I know there are a few mods that allow you to detach the camera from your character, so I was wondering if it could be taken a step further to let you build like that instead of just moving the camera around.
