ive never used creation club before, how does this work?

as the name suggests i wanna edit some npc's (minutemen to be specific) to be spawned with better armor and weapons because they're too vulnerable as they are and i don't know how to start, i have awkcr installed and i want to give the minutemen a polymer heavy combat armor set with the minutemen logo and an assault rifle , any help is appreciated

a couple of knives that id love to see in the game and im sure other players would appreciate them too
