  1. All melee weapons damage scale with strength, (or dexterity if they have finesse) but Bows and crossbows only scale with dexterity. I think it could make sense if Bows (and shortbows) had a kind of inverted finnesse that made them scale with strenght istead of dexterity, since you need some kind of strength to draw the string of the bow and maintain some kind of precision, i don't know it makes some sense to me. If anyone makes this for me i'd be grateful, keep me updated
  2. you're a legend, fully worth the wait, 10/10
  3. You did so much, that's amazing i am really excited about it, i thank you a lot
  4. the spell or a potion that gives proficiency is a good idea. Locking some books with a minimum amount of stat is really smart but i think at least the less rare books shouldn't have that like : - a common rarity cursed book that adds 1d4 necrotic damage on a critical succes to your spells but on a critical miss, you take that damage it would have dealt and so these non rare books should be free for all
  5. Yes that's exactly what i was thinking of. The fact that you can't read the book is not a problem, as long as it looks like a book like in your screenshot. The only thing is my idea was for the books to be useful mainly to spell casters, but most of the time they don't have shield proficiency, i don't know how and if it is possible to find a solution to this. In my head the player can have a staff in one hand and a book in the other one, like having the Mourning Frost and a book that made your spells ignore cold resistance, if you can't do anithing about the shield proficiency being needed it's okay i'd stilll be happy to play with it like that and just find a way to always have shield proficiency. some ideas i had are : - Book of the necromancer : adds 1D6 necrotic damage to every necromancy spell -Book of the healer : Healing spells now give an aditional 5 health points -Poetry 101 : you have advantage on charisma saving throws and your persuasion is inceased by 2 -Your teacher's old grimoire : all of your spells now deal and aditional ammout of damage equal to your ability score and all of your spells ignore resistance and turn it into vulnerability for 1 turn -The ice king's diary : Spells that inflict cold damage always have a chance to inflict chilled and/or frostbiteto your target these are only a few ideas, if you have some go crazy and chose the names that you want for the books. if you want more ideas just ask me i never run out of ideas I don't know if i was very clear, english is only my third language and i already don't explain things very well in my main language, anyway thanks for your attention to my idea
  6. It is possible, i saw that someone has reuploaded "FocusBG3 Repository - Miraculous Dyes and Lodestones", of course they had to have permission from the original author who then game him their last files of the mod or something like that. so if the question is whether it is doable then it is, but if you want to know how to do it then sorry but i cannot help.
  7. So, my idea is for someone to create a bunch of books that, somehow could be equiped on our character offhand, to give him some small bonuses like, proficiency on history rolls, +1 to inteligence or maybe a new spell they can use, something like that. I don't know how doable it would be so don't hesitate toleave a reply.
