Star Trek Total Conversion mod in Starfield?

Since I have been playing as Christine Chapel and have renamed my ship USS Voyager, I think this would be fun! I have quite a bit of application programming experience, but zero modding knowledge, so I suspect I will mostly be a cheerleader. Live Long and Prosper!
