So say my storage is full (I've got 120gb of free space) after only 60gb out of 100gb of the mod collection is downloaded on vortex, what should I do then?

So I'm downloading a collection for Fallout 4, it said it was 100GB but it has taken up much more space than that, is there a reason for this or something I can do to fix this? Not sure if it is downloading duplicate files or something, there seems to be a Steam Folder with fallout 4 in it that has the mods, and also a Vortex folder with fallout 4 that has the mods
