  1. Issue's been resolved. As it turns out, the new drivers were breaking the textures. (wat) Thanks for all the help!
  2. Reinstalled everything and i'm still encountering the same issue. No matter what display settings I choose, the textures remain static. This is likely a hardware problem, but I can't think of a solution. Maybe if I were to download a texture pack, the modded textures would replace the current broken ones? EDIT: If it matters, here are my other specs - AMD Phenom II N660 dual core processor ~ 3.0 ghz 8 GB RAM ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5600/5700 series
  3. Reinstalled the new drivers, reinstalling New Vegas now. I'll update again soon.
  4. I just recently started using a new laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon 5600/5700 series graphics card. For the first few days, Fallout New Vegas ran at 60FPS on High settings with no real issues. A few days ago, ATI released the new drivers for my graphics card, and ever since then, textures have been blurry and unmistakably lower resolution than they were previously. http://media.photobucket.com/image/pip%20boy%20low%20resolution/darkstarrdp/misc%20stuff/ScreenShot0.jpg (For example, my pip-boy looks like this.) Downloading the driver didn't solve anything, neither did reinstalling New Vegas. After reading around for a solution, the only reason I could come up with is that my card is either dusty or overheated, neither of which can really be possible considering this is a brand new machine. Has anyone else experienced such problems? Or could anyone think of a solution to mine?
  5. I recently began playing Fallout 3 with mods and have encountered an issue. When attempting to leave Rivet City, the game crashes to desktop after the the load screen passes. This also occurs when trying to leave any other location (used console to warp to a random metro tunnel and got the same result.) When I first walked up to Rivet City, the textures on some of the walls of the boat were flickering, and there was a large gray square occupying the path towards the alcove where the doors to the marketplace and stairway reside. Some research told me that I should download FO3Edit and create a "merged patch", but the program does not seem to be functioning properly. I get this error in the "Messages" tab. [00:08] Background Loader: Fatal: <Exception: "Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm" requires master "Fallout3.esm" to be loaded before it.> Here is a list of my current mods: http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/1903/modsr.png Can anyone please help me resolve this issue? EDIT: It seems that the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch for Broken Steel was the issue. I've fixed it.
