It's been alright the whole game. I play as a stealth dagger killer and when I kill someone from behind and the animation doesnt work. npcs weapon and shield drops from his inventory and the npc get thrown as usual but his weapons fall at the place where he stood at. it looks very ugly and cartoonish. i think it started after i joined legion or after i went to solstheim.
