  1. There's a rather immersive mod which allows to manipulate the weather - Weather Machine at The Witcher 3 Nexus. You may take a look a this.
  2. Hello TOLiHo. You should try this one - not only it's the msot extensive bug-fixing project for the game, it also provides something you're asking for specifically. Brothers in Arms - TW3 Bug Fix and Restored Content Collection - Next-Gen at The Witcher 3 Nexus. Optional files - BIA - LOD Bundle. Other LOD-related mods are related to the Old Gen from what I've checked.
  3. It's good you want to make sure everything is installed in a correct way. Only .dazip files are going to show up in the Downloadable Content. Files you put into the override folder will not show up there and it is as it should be. It's easy to install and remove mods in the override folder, most of all, you see exactly which files you install and if there's a mod conflct (a folder scanner like Duplicate Search Tool at Dragon Age: Origins helps a great deal with it. So, if there's no duplicate files in the override, meaning that some other mod changes the same things, everything's going to work.
  4. Greetings, welcome to the forums. It's really something easy to miss, that's why it's commendable you managed to catch that detail. I'll see what can be done about it, and as I work on fixing the bugs for the game, you can also write to me directly if you have other, similar findings.
  5. I understand your idea, it's a pity I don't deal in texture/visual mods as of now. Changing the eyes of a character is certainly something achievable, I'll keep ithe idea in mind.
  6. It depends on what you wish to request, do share some details if you will, and we'll see what can be done about it.
  7. I'm glad you managed to solve the issue, it's very good to see I understand, I'll take a look out of curiosity, most important that the solution turned out to be rather simple and working. Good luck Raider.
  8. Hello, I hope you are as well. That's a lot of mods. Most of them are visuals that shouldn't cause the issue you're describing. Do you have everything merged correctly in the Script Merger? Also one should check the prority order of the non-mergeable files in SM, sometimes giving a higher priority to one mod instantly solves a problem when you start the game again. Check the Merger once more, the priority order is very important.
  9. Can you tell more about the issue? More details will help with finding a solution. As you can see, reinstalling the Script Merger certainly won't help, the problem lies elsewhere.
  10. First of all, check if you use the correct version of the mods for your game (Classic 1.31 or Next-Gen 4.04). Using an incorrect or incompatible mod's version can cause the issue.
  11. Okay. The playerwitcher.ws file is the key here. When you have A(vanilla) B, C to choose from, you probably chose only the code from one of them, and you should copy the necessary code from both B and C. Try to merge the files once again, make sure you copy the Active Medallion-related code. When two mods don't change exactly the same line, you can make them both work when you copy and paste the codes next to each other, instead of replacing one of them.
  12. Are you using a correct version of Active Medallion for your game? There are two, one for 1.31 Classic and the other for 4.04 Next-Gen.
  13. So moot is an opinion about Origins desperately needing a remaster. The word 'desperately', especially. I'd use it more about the latest part of the series, it has modern graphics, it came out a few months ago, but needs a remaster already. Impressive, when to think of it. Things don't have to be about a flood every time, the number of people doing something or not, is also sometimes nothing to be proud of. We don't have to look at the numbers all the time, because by that measure any quality product, such as classical music, is usually in a worse situation, because a flood usually is interested in the cheapest, but available and approachable thing. Or something that is being released every year, like football games by...oh, what a surprise, EA. I agree that Origins came out in 2009 and it was for 32 bits. But from what I gather, with a LAA patch and a ton of mods, it doesn't have to be ashamed of anything graphically. Modding sometimes does a better job than 'professional' remastering. In such business, customers should be serious, Bioware has started to lose trust since Dragon Age 2, because that and each next game has been a lesser or bigger disappointment, even when we consider Mass Effecr 3, the funny things with the coloured endings are memorable to this day. Inquisition was a surprising exception, in my opinion it's not a good DA game, but it's still a good game. Unfortunately that was the brighest case, a pity they at least didn't continue something that could be reforged into Bioware 2.0, with a different quality, but still quality. Time for regaining trust was with the fourth Dragon Age, they had so many years to have truly...returned, once again. They did not. Now it's time for another Mass Effect - if they managed to make that one at least good (fifteen years ago I'd have expected only top quality from them) - objectively, nobody will deny it then, I think that's like, a real last chance for defending the rusting Bioware's name.
  14. To be honest, Dragon Age Origins desperately needs a guarantee it won't be touched by so called "remasters". Graphics aren't everything, and with texture or reshade mods Origins doesn't have to be ashamed of anything even in that regard. Remastering the best game in the series sounds counter-intuitive to me, many things considered. Trust? Just because the name 'Bioware' is still there, it doesn't mean it's the same Bioware that made Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect trilogy. Name is just a name, actions and effects of said actions, say more. And let's not kid ourselves, they would touch the story, very much, it won't be just about adding 'ray-tracing', or some other, very important for the overall quality, modern feature. They would change the combat to of course, more 'action-oriented', a simplified one so it's more approachable. Bioware - had been the people. Find out how many of Bioware veterans that created the classics I mentioned, works in there as of now. The power of names, and their legacy.
  15. This mod mentions something like that: Distinctive Raven's Armors at The Witcher Nexus.
  16. The save you downloaded, could've been created on Hard Difficulty and you tried to use it on one of the other difficulty levels. At any rate, Flame cursor on hard difficulty for sword combos should help in this case and in general, if one wants to play on Hard with the flame cursor.
  17. I've never had the issue myself, that's why I was being eaten by curiosity about it. Good to know. @Mei, check the offer files, so you'll be able to run the quest more immersively.
  18. Have you found any reason of why Levi disappeared from your camp? It's an interesting case.
  19. If it works now - it's good, don't remove or add any mods, if the mod list's creator, themselves, had written not to. But you have the right not to use only the mods someone else compiled - that's why I encourage to create your own 'list' - browse through Nexus and find mods you like, reading the descriptions about compatibilities and carefully merging conflicts in Script Merger. And if you do it manually, without relying on Vortex or any manager - you'll get very comfortable with tinkering and installing mods for this game, in general. But if you use a collection, stick to it, it'll be safest, the more the mods, the bigger chance of an eventual conflict between them, also remember the game has a mod limit, even the NG version, which can be increased with mods, but not infinitely. Good luck to you.
  20. It might be, if it's a curse, then a witcher would be handy, that's why I am here . The effect is, as you noticed, of a rather low quality, I've looked through the blood mods, and if you had one of them, it would look much better. I'm more inclined to think that it's something with the game, it shows textures on the armour, that shouldn't be shown, it really is like a curse.
  21. Heh, I don't think they added anything like it in the Next-Gen updates, I can show you the blood mods for that version, that are still needed for the blood splatter on the main character or enemies. Yeah, I never have, I also don't use a mod that adds splatters on characters, so when it comes to this 'feature', my game's like the vanilla. And I'm quite sure the screenshot you posted, looks like one of the mods, the fact you don't have such mods installed, makes it even more bizarre .
  22. It really sounds like work of some blood mod, I've never seen my character get bloodied in the vanilla game, that's the reason there are quite a few such mods out there - the vanilla has very little blood. You're saying you had that before with another armour... Very strange, I wish I could help more, but I really don't know what can be causing it.
  23. It's strange, there are mods that allow blood splatters on Geralt and enemies, but in the unmodded there is very little blood anywhere during combat, let alone blood on the main character. Maybe it has something to do with the armour mod, it looks like you're using Dirty Manticore or something like that, right? Dirty Manticore at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods. I went to the mod's page to see if there are some comments about it, and well, there is a user who talks about artifacts on the armour, There has to be a reason you have that issue of yours.
  24. Does that happen in the vanilla game? I don't remember such thing. It looks to me like you use some blood mode, don't you? Check your mod folder.
  25. How many mods do you have installed after personalising the list by yourself? I would suggest installing them manually and solving the Script Merger conflicts then. Also, check if all the mods you're using are compatible with your current game version, it might be you added one that is incompatible. But don't worry, all can be fixed.
