LOL so I managed to figure out a workaround on this myself. (I'll keep this post up for anyone who encounters the same issue) Basically, it's the image quality setting. When starting the game with your image quality at 100%, the skin texture bug occurs, but if you set it at 150% (Not sure if there's some kind of threshold), and then turn it back to 100%, the bug goes away. It's much better to keep the image quality setting high if your PC can handle it. Personally, mine can't so I have to do this. Not sure if this works for everyone.
