Just curious, but the mod says I need to turn off my borders. How do I do that? I found my oblivion ini file, but there's soooooooo many entries. Which one do I have to change? And to what setting? It all looks like gibberish to me. Thanks again (^_^)

Hi (^_^) I'm hoping this will be a quick and easy case closed case. There seems to be an abundance of black, gold and brown bows/quivers, my personal favorite is the dark adventurer's bow set: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29589. However this time I decided to play Oblivion again with a new character and a different look. However for some reason I can't anything (bows and quivers) in white, I went through 14 pages of mods when I wrote the word "bow", and I couldn't find anything solid. I was tempted to try the default game's white quivers and bows, but they looked too bulky and odd, this is kind of why I liked the "dark adventurer's bow set", it looked slim, long and elegant. The in game quivers looks like you're carrying baseball bat or something. xD. I'm exaggerating a bit, but you get the idea, it's too wide and bulky. As far as bows go, the closest thing I was able to find was the ice bow: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10637. But the glowing and Christmas light effect doesn't feel natural or normal for a bow. But at this point I'm kind of worried if I have any real choices, searching for it manually didn't really help, so I thought I'd bask in the communities wisdom. Maybe there websites that have them? I honestly don't know where to look, I've tried checking other people's blogs and websites, but all I can find are clothes. Where can I find white bows and arrows/quivers? Thanks again (^_^)

Hi Oblivion Mod Detectives (^_^) Was just wondering, is there a mod that made clothes/armor break faster? I'm not talking about altering one type of clothing mod, I mean all clothes in general. Always seemed weird I could hit someone wearing a light armor shirt with a two handed sword (or I'd be hit wearing light armor), and the armor only took -2 durability loss. Thanks again (^_^) -Oyu-

But I seem to have the uncanny ability to make anyone I make in oblivion “fugly” beyond belief without fail. Even worse, is that I say that knowing full well that the following (and much more) exist: ren’s beauty mod, beautiful people, cute elves, lineage 2 elves, corean race, the new Desuchan’s dolls, and more. Despite the blessings of the mod community, it has done little to ease the level of fail that has seeped into my very bones. Main point: anyone I create in oblivion is always insanely “fulgly”. Explanation Anyway, it’s for that reason, I’ve come very dependent on game saves from the mod community. I’m no artist, nor artisan, and sometimes I wished more people would upload game saves, but I can’t blame them, after all it’s their work, and their effort, at the end of the day, it’s their choice to share their knowledge and gifts with us. And while I can only wonder how many modders will actually read this, I want to say thanks. Observations However one thing I did notice, is that there are an insane amount of companion mods that seemed to have fairly nice characters and nice faces. Alas, I rarely ever see the option to play as the actual character. You can never play as them, only with them. Watching them with my fugly character, I often have to put some extra stat points into “charm” if you know what I mean. Anyway, I was ultimately told my answer ultimately lies in: TES CONSTRUCTION SET v1.2.404 http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/updates_utilities.htm My dilemma As you’re reading this, I’m likely wrestling with that construction set, and failing horribly in my vain attempts to understand how to use it. But I’m no modder either, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it took months or years to fully understand what I need to do in order to: convert a companion mod character into a saved game character which I could play as. My request I was also told that if all else fails, to trust in the forum community with my dilemma, and pray they would sire remedies to my burden. And so I bestow my request upon you; oh dear reader who has spent precious moments of your life to listen to my plea!
