  1. thanks for the reply guys, one of the reasons I went for UNP is the fact it seemed the simplest option for a modding noob, no other requirements. BHUNP seems to have so many other requirements and altering things with bodyslide seems something I need to learn about before I make a change. one of the mods I really wanted to try Crimson Blood armour has loaded with no pants which with some reading requires me to fix it with SEedit which also seems daunting. sometimes I feel I spend more time messing with, and learning about mods than playing the game.
  2. Hi , so enjoying my first modded playthrough currently using UNP but alot of armour Im wanting to use seems to be only available for CBBE and it seems bodyslide also doesnt work for UNP. My character seems so skinny! Just wondering what body type you guys are using and if its worth the hassle of changing a load of mods for just a few new sets of armour and to make my character look like they had a decent meal. Also, with UNP do you have to uninstall the mod to change from vanilla/skinny/curvy ? cannot seem to find an ingame way to change that and what I have read it seems you can only do this with CBBE or BHUNP whatever that is . atm im using UNP Female Body Renewal - A female face and body replacer Fair Skin Complexion UNP Immersive Armors
  3. sorry alphafr I edited my post its not the full Requiem but https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/78830
  4. Hello, so Im fairly new to modding (not skyrim) and doing my first play through with nexus mods. Im mostly happy with my modest modlist, game looks nice but Im still not 100% happy with my improvements to combat. Ive Valhalla combat, precision, true directional movement. I tryed to get TK Dodge working but it had so much delay I gave up on it and using Simple Dodge (requiem dodge standalone) which is great in 1st person but for some reason does nothing in 3rd. Its working, alot better but Im still after more. Ive been looking at loading either Attack - MCO|DXP https://www.distaranimation.com/mods/attack or Plus Combat - A Modern Combat Overhaul https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/100915 or another suggestion if someone has one please? I good step dodge and combo attacks would be great. And just to further improve the clunky skyrim combat
  5. I have my first mod list done on Vortex and all seems ok apart from SKSE which Ive had a real pain with. At first I thought I could just install like the other mods from vortex but it was not showing up ingame and causing error messages from other mods. So, I followed the instructions in the offsite page and the only way I seem to be able to get it to work is making a link from the SKSE loader file to my desktop and starting the game from that. Is that correct or have I got something wrong? Also, when I exit the game to to the menu page I just get a black screen, with the music. Im running SK anniversary edition and the latest SKSE AE version from the offsite page.
  6. Ok so I will be playing Skyrim AE and will be trying to keep things fairly simple. My next modded play through I would like to start as a vampire as I've not tried this yet. My family got infected and hunted down by the dawnguard. Only I survived and filled with anger I want to destroy them. So these are the things I'd like to mod, Combat Armour and weapons Body visuals UI Inventory Vampire overhaul Graphics and items Weather Water Towns and villages Npc AI Followers Player house And, maybe not popular to some cheat room. I have made a list on the tracked function I just now need to work out if they will work together and what else they all need. My play through on Xbox pc is playable but I'm just so frustrated that some mods are not available and I could make things better.
  7. Thanks for the replies. I'm not looking at lots of mods, just to get the game looking good and improving the UI, inventory and combat. Something to manage followers and reduce the grind of leveling some of the skills. And something I've not tried yet some of the mods that improve the main towns/cities. I'm running about 12 mods atm from the creation club. So, next question please before I give this a go. Am I best to download Skyrim via steam? Does using a nexus mods manager with steam complicate things? I ended up using Xbox PC pass as I was looking for new games to play and saw Skyrim and remembered how much I loved it. Seems to be a bit limited though.
  8. Hello, so Ive played through the vanilla Skyrim a few times and thought I would try something new with moding. Ive started with Xbox PC creation club but Im finding alot of mods I want to try are missing or only available on console. Ive never tried Nexus and looked at some videos online it looks like you really need to know what your doing ? as in there is an order to what you load and you need to pick difference options to get them to work together ? So, how new user friendly is nexus modding and how time consuming will learning likely to be please?
