  1. Just checked properties on SkyrimSE.exe and it looks like it did update. Weird how it doesn't say anything at all about it in Steam though. Thank you for all the help!!!
  2. Just tried moving SkyrimSE.exe out of my library folder, hit verify integrity of game files, it just replaced the old file with a new one and didn't update.
  3. Yes - I uninstalled Skyrim SE, then deleted each folder for Skyrim on my computer, rebooted, then reinstalled. After I reinstalled, I moved my Steam library to a new folder on my C drive, then once I did that I hit verify integrity of game files. I did not try moving just SkyrimSE.exe or SkyrimSELauncher.exe out of any folders on their own. I might try that next and see what happens.
  4. Yeah I'm 99.9% sure that's not the issue. I think my steam account is having problems at this point because I've logged in on two different computers and it just seems to think that Skyrim SE hasn't had any updates since 2022. So I can't update my game and it's stuck in a version that's incompatible with some core mods. I think at this point I'll just have to play vanilla until Steam sorts itself out or maybe even just make a new account or something.
  5. Just attempted this, the manifest IDs were already the same as the ones at https://steamdb.info/app/489830/depots/?branch=public and the read only box was already unchecked. Still no update detected for Skyrim SE past 1.6.640. Is there anything I can do to prompt Steam to look for an update manually? Even when I look at the News tab for Skyrim SE in the Steam Community on my account, it doesn't show any updates after Sept 2022. I don't get it...
  6. I'll have a look at all that then and try to find what might have happened. I did just move my Steam library to a new folder outside of program files (still on C drive because I don't have another hard drive), but the update issue was happening before that.
  7. I have verified game files, and I did also find SKSE 2.2.3, but mods like USSEP only support version 1.6.117 so I'm not sure what to do. I haven't done anything outside of Steam that I'm aware of to prevent updates. I have automatic updates on. I hadn't played for like a year and after connecting to wifi it updated to 1.6.640 as if that was the most recent update.
  8. Nope, no update button. Shows last update 1.6.640 Sept 20th, 2022 and says the game is up to date. Setting are on automatic updates as well. I'm wondering how to prompt/force Steam to look for new updates since there obviously is one. I did find the right version of SKSE for 1.6.640, but then some mods like USSEP only support version 1.6.117, so I don't know what to do.
  9. I posted on Reddit and Steam community about this issue but I thought I'd ask here as well just in case. My current Skyrim SE version is 1.6.640, and I know the most recent is 1.6.117. From what I can tell, the most recent SKSE along with several core mods won't seem to work unless I have 1.6.117. However, I can't figure out how to get Steam to update the game. It's as if there is no update available. I have settings set to update automatically. How can I get to 1.6.117 so that I can try and figure out my mods from there? I've been troubleshooting problem after problem this week and every day it's a new thing. Last time I attempted to start a new game at version 1.6.640, SKSE wouldn't work (v 2.2.5 or whatever the most recent is) because I'm guessing it wasn't compatible with my game version, and all my mods were disabled. Tried several fixes, disabling mods, clean slate, etc. and I'm just assuming it has to come down to 1.6.640 not being the right version of the game to work with right now?
