I guess I have been conditioned from previous mod manager software. I will try adding mods and then launching through steam to see if everything works through that method. Thanks for your quick reply.

Hello! I had problems crashing after the Patch 7 release. I have restored my game to vanilla using the steps listed in the troubleshooting wiki. I previously deleted all prior saves, desynced from the cloud, and reinstalled the game through steam. I have uninstalled vortex downloaded the latest version (1.5.2) from nexus. I currently have no mods downloaded. The game launches fine through steam and I created a Tav that could load the nautiloid, but when launching through vortex it crashes during the initial loading screen at 58% every time. Any help in fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated!
