  1. I've recently started working on a DLC sized worldspace mod that will take place in Baltimore City (and County). I've done a massive load of research on Fallout lore to make sure everything I've included fits with the year 2287. I've created a lot of assets to use, gotten permission for a lot of assets to use, and am very new to the Creation Kit. I've hammered out all the plot, characters you'll meet, locations you'll go, so on and so on. Where I'm at in Creation Kit, is creating a heightmap. lol I'm a writer and singer first, computer whiz very much second. I'd love any advice you have! I'm pretty much past the point of suggestions for content. I just need hand-holding because tutorial videos don't answer when you raise your hand. lol For starters, I'll be voicing the companion that you'll meet in the Commonwealth to start the mod. Frankkey (you'll get the pun here when you play). You'll need to be General of the Minutemen and have helped Cpt. Zao with the Yangtze (reasons why will be revealed when you play). Invading Baltimore are the DC Outcasts lead by Protector Rand with hired help from the Talon Company Mercs reformed under Commander Ox-Badge after the defeat of Jabsco at Fort Bannister (you'll understand why the Outcasts would hire them when you play), the Cult of the Mothman lead by a cryptid collecting Brother Cecil, and the zeppelin mobilized New Baltimore Atomites. Saving Baltimore are the Minutemen you bring with you under the command of Lt. Percy Jasper aboard the Yangtze, the Shi from San Francisco aboard the newly rebuilt Shih-huang-ti (Cpt. Zao may have something to do with this), the Responders after receiving an SOS signal, a newly reformed Reilly's Rangers under the leadership of a familiar green friend with numbers from the Regulators and Abolitionists aiming to snuff out what's left of Talon Company, and the New Pittsburgh Union comprised of the newly freed Pitt slaves and the Rontos looking for unclaimed territory for their refugees (remember that laser you fired in Mothership Zeta? Google where it hit). And then the Harm City Syndicate comprised of 8 tribes: the Lords of Baltimore, the McHenry 1812's, the Harm City Police Department, the O's at Camden, the Terpsville Terps, the Unkindness of Nevermore, the Hopkins Triage, and the F. Scott Anthems.
  2. I'll check it out! Appreciate the response! Though I will say at first glance, this uses Photoshop. I use GIMP.
  3. So, I've gotten my map image to be recognized in the Worldspace window. However, when importing the heightmap, using the same image, I get "Error Loading Image: The request is not supported" Originally, it gave me the error that the image size was incorrect and then I noticed, it needed to be grayscale and 32-point floating. So, I went and made those adjustments and made a new image for it in the same folder. Then it gave that error. So, I figured the image from Worldspace window also needed to be grayscale, since the new image was giving the error. So, I outright replaced it. Now it's just giving me that error for heightmap. It still lets me select the Map Image in Worldspace window.
