I've seen a ton of great weapon mods for every weapon but the shotgun and was curious if anyone is working on one and if not I have some ideas for a model to use that would fit the aesthetic of the game. Guns pictured in order go such as; Ithica Model 37, Model 1897 World War 1 or 2 version, and the Remington 870. I'm attempting to learn unity at the moment but I'm still learning the basics so any help is appreciated.

Yea idk, i havent had issues, just spam e like crazy when i see james head move towards something, so idk, skill issue maybe? Other than that, the voice acting thing is entirely possible, just going to take time to get done, unreal engine has a built in ai voice recognition software that lines audio up with whats being said by inputting the voice lines and tweaking the values to the correct emotion you want for the line being spoke. Realistically within the realm of possibility, just a matter of meticulously swapping out every line and replacing it. While I respect that you don't mind the dogwater execution of the voice acting and taking away of lines that lessen each character and making the overall story less impactful, I'm going to disagree and stick with my guns here, it's a travesty what was done and I will accept no further debate on it, except god bless whoever gets it done. Sorry if I offend, but this is a touchy game just to throw to the wayside as, eh, whatevs lol teehee. I and many others I have discussed this with feel the same way, sorry the game doesn't mean as much to you, but these petty little mods literally mean nothing compared to getting this done as a priority, peace, have a good rest of your day. -

Number two can be disabled completely in the settings under gameplay tab at the bottom, I do believe, and I agree with the rest, and if anyone bothers looking into these, hear this. We NEED a script overhaul of the dialogue and voice acting to be replaced with the originals, bloober unnecessarily changing line deliveries with awful uninspired maria voice actor and 'silent' james, just isnt cutting it, bash on the original all you want by saying its too cheesy, it had more soul. Thanks for reading. -

The simplecam mod exists, which makes me wonder, can you setup triggers via unreal engine with the camera mod as reference to save and pose camera shots like how it works in the original game? Genuinely curious if that's possible, because that's the only way this is going to work I think, let me know if I'm wrong tho. And to go a step further, would a return of tank controls be possible to accompany this? I agree all around tho, the symbolism is being lost in the lack of inclusion of the 'behind bars' shots. Hope someone knows a solution. -
James puts his firearm away and auto switches to melee weapon when going for a stomp unlike how it was in the old game, breaking immersion for that second. Any way around this? I would like him to keep holding his firearm while stomping so isn't so jarring to witness swapping back to firearm from melee repeatedly. Thanks!

Or use the original voice acting, but facial animation changes still need to be underwent to match, maybe both? Idk what would be easier or better to do. Any feedback appreciated.

Hi I am wondering if there is anyone out there capable of animation changes and knowledgeable with ai voiceline dubbing? I currently find that the game's story is being lost a bit with some of the dialogue changes and execution on line deliveries and have confided amongst others who feel the same way and wish for an overhaul of the script to, instead, be replaced with the original games lines. James dissociated and seemingly traumatized way of talking is lost on this version for me, as well as Maria's essential berating of James 'manhood', I and others feel as though these are imperative to the games story and leaving these and many others out, just doesn't hit quite as hard as is intended when it was written. I know this is an arduous task and a lot to ask but it would be such a welcome addition to the already stunning mod portfolio this game is collecting. Please and thank you, smellsnoice.
