  1. I know we all have large hard drives now and download bandwith is not an issue for most of us, but it still seems a shame to be duplicating body models over and over again just to creat a colour variation of a mod. FunnyBunny666 provides a lot of modes with the outfits as separate layers. As I understand this a lot of these (at least the one's I've downloaded) have been ripped from other DOA games, so presumably they were already broken up into body and outfit to begin with. It's really easy to then replace textures and create a bunch of outfits at a relatively small file size. Meanwhile a most other mods I've downloaded from other creators just duplicate the entire model, even if there are multiple outfits that use the same mesh. I know how to delete objects usinng LR Photo Studion. Seems like there should be a way to delete everything except the outfit and then turn that into --H and --HL files, and then somehow tell the base TMC file to use those as variations. I did try messing around with file names to see if Autolink would just see the --H and --HL files and use it as a layer but no, it's not that simple. I am not a 3D moddler, I've never done that and don't have any plans to do that any time soon. But I have created a heap of new textures since that's where my skill level is. There are a bunch of cool tools for messing about with DOA5LR files. Is there one that will do what I want? Or if not is there something I can do in a hex editor? Seems like the kind of thing that could have been a simple tool. Or is this something you can only do in a 3D moddler? Or is this something that is lost to time?
