  1. Skyrim SSE (V: 1.6.1170), Steam I've been getting this error message on Vortex. Red error box that won't go away. I did a total uninstall of the game, Vortex, and every mod. I then reinstalled everything. When I did the final deploy, it was clean, No missing masters, no hard conflicts, and it started right away. It doesn't keep me from playing, but makes the game act weird after a while. I have to save and restart for it to stop glitching. Any help?
  2. Yes, patches loaded with the mod. I wound up uninstalling all my mods, deleted Vortex, and uninstalled Skyrim. Then spent a long afternoon reinstalling everything. But I'm getting a really odd error now. A red error message, telling me I'm missing fonts. I did another total reinstall today, and still getting the error.
  3. Skyrim SE (V: 1.6.1170) - Steam The oddest glitch. The entrance to the museum in Solitude has a stone wall across it. I've disabled the mods for Solitude appearances and that doesn't resolve the issue. Any advice? Thanks
  4. I downloaded with Vortex. I then d/l'd it manually. I followed the directions very carefully as to the file path to place it. For giggles, when I got the error message last time, I didn't shut the game down and it loaded and worked perfectly. It's working so I'll take it. God, I'm almost afraidnof what's going to happen when I get a new computer! Thanks for your assistance.
  5. Yes. Latest version. I looked into the file and the DLL is right there, but it's not reading it.
  6. I'm running Skyrim SE, (V: 1.6.1170) - Steam I've gotten the attached error message in the past. I was told to install SSE Engine Fix. I did and he problem was resolved. Now, I don't know what I did but I think I accidentally deleted something and all my mods got corrupted, and my game was crashing. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled all my mods, my game, and Vortex. I started reinstalling my mods a few at a time, starting with SKSE64. I'm getting the same error again, except this time, the engine fix isn't solving the issue. I'm getting incredibly frustrated. I've uninstalled and downloaded SKSE and every engine fix I could find, in various combinations. I can't load my game. At one point, I uninstalled everything related to Skyrim. I did a clean install of the game and it did finally load vanilla. I can't seem to get past this issue. I've spent all day and the only positive thing I've accomplished today is not turning my laptop into a thousand dollar frisbee! I've played modded Skyrim, I can't go back to vanilla Skyrim. Please help! Thanks. JMWhalen1000
  7. This is a first for me, but I can't aim my bow. When I equip a bow, the reticle is facing the target at 12 o'clock, but the bow itself is facing 10 o'clock. I had to run away from my first dragon! I have no clue how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Skyrim SE (V: 1.6.1170), Steam
  8. 2 of my NPC's (so far) have "blackface". Ysolda and Saaid in Whiterun. There bodies are normal, but there's a dstinct line at the neck and everything above is a dark bronze color. I know this has probably been asked and answered, but I'm new at modding, so please be patient with me. I'm using Vortex and there are 4 "missing masters" messages, 2 are missing sexlab.esm, 1 is missing ELE_SSE.esp, and 1 is ELFXENHANCER.esp. I entered those masters in the search bar on Nexxus but no luck. I don't know where to find them. I'm running Skyrim SE (V: 1.6.1170) from Steam. I am not getting any error messages at start up. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  9. Skyrim SE (V: 1.6.1170), Steam I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I keep getting this same error message at start up. Anyone can advise? Thank you.
  10. Vortex version: 1.13.7 Skyrim SE (PC) version: 1.6.1170.0.8 Steam platform Hello, I'm an older gentleman very new to mods. I played Skyrim when released originally on Xbox 360. I've had Steam for a few years, but just discovered the updated Skyrim. Then I discovered mods, and got crazy! I don't understand computer stuff beyond point and click. So when I discovered Nexxus, I got mod happy. I've downloaded 242 mods. I try to start my game from Vortex and I don't get past the title screen before it crashes. I'm assuming I tried too many but I don't know. It was done gradually...started with creation club content through the start menu, then discovered Nexxus. I downloaded a bunch and was able to load but with about 20 error messages I didn't understand. I noticed most of my issues related to Ostim and its related mods. I uninstalled every single mod and started over. I did not install any of the Ostim mods, except the different "O" mods that didn't require Ostim. I reinstalled mods pretty much by category starting with SKSE64. After each install, if there were conflicts or missing masters, I resolved those before installing the next mod. At the end, there were 3 masters issues I couldn't resolved, so I deactivated them. My screen showed no conflicts so I deployed all. I attempted to start my game through the SKSE icon. I can't get beyond the title screen. I tried starting with the game icon in the corner with same result. Lastly, I tried starting through Steam with the same result. So, I have 159 mods enabled. My Votrex mods list shows no conflicts or masters errors. Do I have too many mods, and if so, how do I know which ones to disable and remove? Thanks so much.
