It is maddening how they can't fix this simple thing.
This does not work, but i found a solution, all you have to do is create a symbolic link
1 - Open CMD as administrator
2 - Go to the root mods directory, in my case: "G:\Games\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods"
So: "cd G:\Games\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods"
3 - mklink /D "G:\Games\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods\Mods" "G:\Games\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods"
4 - Open and close Vortex
This basically creates a shortcut tellings the "Mods" dir to to go the root "Mods" dir, remember to change to the correct directory of your computer.
