I’m new to modding and computers in general, and I’m really struggling to get mods working for Kingdom Come: Deliverance on Steam using Vortex. I’ve tried a bunch of steps, but nothing’s showing up in-game, and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I don’t need help with one specific mod—just want to understand how to make mods work at all. Here’s where I’m at: • Game is on Steam at C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/KingdomComeDeliverance. • I’ve got Vortex installed, and it says KCD is “Managed.” • I’ve downloaded some mods from Nexus (like Unlimited Save and others), installed them in Vortex, enabled them (green toggle), and hit “Deploy Mods.” • I see a Mods folder in the game directory with stuff like Data folders and .pak files. • I’ve tried launching from Vortex’s “Play” button (Steam opens, then the game), but nothing changes in-game—like saves still need Saviour Schnapps, etc. What am I missing? Can someone walk me through the whole process step-by-step, like I’m totally new? Screenshots or a simple checklist would be amazing. I’ve been at this for days and just want to enjoy some mods!
