Ah so looked at those and yeah what everyone said would happen is happening. These "new threads" are heavily moderated propaganda prop pieces. Basically the "stop telling us you hate it and tell us what we want to hear. Or we will delete your comment" threads. I stand by my last post ages ago. This is a waste of time and the ego is astounding. What these threads don't cover. Is when people hate ALL OF IT.

TBH the fact any company has the ego and balls. To basically flip the bird at the userbase that signs their checks for them. Kinda boggles my mind here. Without users you make 0 money. NONE, Zilch, Not a single damn cent. So at the end of the day what the userbase likes. Should outweigh what the staff likes right? Thats how you sell a product? I dono I never went to business school but some how I highly doubt. There is a seminar on shooting yourself in the foot. Yet its such a common thing to see these days. The ego trip rather than the humility and community. The me instead of we. I am pretty much done talking here. This is pointless and I like countless others. Will be redoubling my efforts to find an alternative. In hopes that the staff get a boot to the head. To jar their cognitive senses.

TBH I was kinda surprised I got singled out for a reply. Guess I am the token everyman cause I made comments about. If you didn't throw them money you don't exist. Do I think anything I said matters to them at all. Other than the one little tidbit they could take as a concession. While continuing to mindlessly march forward pushing this shiz? Nope, not a single word mattered at all. Most of us are probably wasting our energy. But better to waste it than be complacent and steamrolled without trying. We will be ignored XD.

Well for a really old user like me. A large part of using the site is muscle memory. Especially when your THE mod guy in your friend group. So everyone paws at you for mods for their needs or to build modpacks. Cause you do it very quickly. Things moved or require extra steps to use. Finding things that before I could just jump to without thought or even looking. Has slowed down how I use the site by a large margin.

one of my responses as far as I know never got approved like 5 pages back or so. it was me actually praising the new color scheme. as that is quite literally the only aspect I do like. but my reason for liking it is niche and too small a group to be considered in actual feedback. I have an old eye injury that makes me highly photosensitive. the new colors cause no monitor brightening and thus no pain. however that is largely the only thing in this entire update I have liked. I don't want my pc mod site looking like a tablet. I had to spend 20 minutes refinding everything so I could use it. my normal lighting quick use of the site after a decade of practice and patronship has been cut in half. all in all its a really bad design on multiple fronts. fully quantifying every little thing that makes it bad. would take me hours of analyzing the new design for you. and it would be almost exclusively purely negative. Simply put folks you gave it a good effort. But you took an L this time. Hold your heads up, go back to the drawing board. You have an infinite amount of chances to nail it. So long as you don't piss off the community enough to just migrate at their first chance. Nexus is a work horse. Its been here forever and is well established. Don't lose that userbase for the sake of ego. Show some humility, and make it right.

Probably not they have been blatantly ignoring anything thats not directly spun for the new design. Also I noticed that I no longer need a moderator to approve my posts. Yay I can answer freely and eventually get banned. In order to silence me cause thats how freedom of speech works.

Constructive criticism in other words "anything but complaints telling us how bad it is. So that we can continue marching on like nothing is happening." Basically unless you have something to say for improving the design everyone hates with minor concessions. that don't involve SCRAPPING IT LIKE PEOPLE WANT YOU TO. or you paid for premium you do not exist.

I might be the outlier here but I actually like the new colors. Its the only thing about this update I DO like. But the reason I like it is very niche and too few would share it to consider in feedback. My eyes are burned and it has rendered me highly photosensitive. The new darker and more neutral pallet causes me 0 pain. By making the light my monitor gives off brighten. However some of the color suggestions on offer by feedback. Also do not cause that pain. So colors is one thing I won't complain about personally. Everything else I will though. Its unintuitive, idiotic, and frankly just...ugly. As many have sighted if we wanted to browse Nexus on a tablet. We would buy a damn tablet. We use PCs, as 95% of all mods are FOR PC. The fact yall say you don't want to support 2 versions of the site is Ludacris to me. STOP CATERING TO MOBILE. THE PEOPLE WHO PAY YOUR CHECKS ARE ON PC. Its....honestly a no brainer and I refuse to accept. The people who keep nexus up and running. Are unintelligent enough to not see something that obvious. If you were Nexus would not still be here. So use those brains.

What they will likely do. Is take the number of pages from this forum. Show none of the posts and claim it was a massive turnout. Supporting the new design they pushed. In other words this entire thread of nearly solid complaints. Will become their "selling point". Also hi moderator who has to approve this post. Bet I hit the nail on the head didn't I? Can't wait for it to be rejected now to silence it. XD

Actually you know what I do have an actual suggestion to offer. Give people the option to opt out completely. If they like how the site looks and how it works. Give them the option to opt out of updates like this one.

*stares at the new site layout* Thanks I absolutely hate it. No I am serious and not just trying to be a jerk or troll here. I absolutely hate the new layout without a fraction of a doubt. Look folks, if I wanted this site to look like I was on mobile. I wouldn't be using a PC. You are a site for PC mods. Stop catering to mobile and stop disabling features like searching comments. Seriously it makes it very awkward when you just want to ask. A simple troubleshooting question for a mod. But also don't want to bog down the dev. With a thousand copies of the same question. So you do a quick search for your question. To see if it has already been asked and answered. Now onto some real points other than just I hate it. The new design is NOT more intuative...at all. I have been using nexus for years now. This is the first time I log onto the site. And need to relearn how to do everything. Also don't give me that its a transitory thing bullshit. IF ITS NOT BROKEN DON'T FIX IT! I shouldn't have to relearn to use your site. You are a mod site. You list mods and allow them to be downloaded. Mods made by other people. Who want their mods easy to find and download. However a positive point I can raise. Is I rather like the new color scheme. The colors are easy on the eyes and look nice. Good job on the design team for that part. You knocked it out of the part.
