"Alright people, listen up. We're going to be right up with Aria supporting her on her way to Afterlife. Also, disregard her comment on no prisoners. If they surrender, knock their asses out, collect them and move on." Logan looked around the Kodiak at the team. No, HIS team. The Kodiak headed towards D-78 where, the team would be dropped off and deployed. Despite taking several minor damages, the Kodiak remained intact.

"Colonel, we've been hit by an enemy barrage. However our shields took the hit." Massachusetts reported, as Logan continued his walk towards the armory. Minutes later he entered the armory and began to equip his T5-V Battlesuit. Once he finished he grabbed his M-99 'Saber' Assault Rifle (which had been recolored black), and loaded a fresh thermal cell into it. "Massachusetts, Tell the team they have five minutes to finish gearing up. We'll be meeting in the hanger for this one. Also, inform Emerson if those bastards so much as scratch my ship, she's fired." Logan ordered as he was examining his equipment. The A.I. smiled and made the announcement for the team, then personally delivering the message to Emerson.
-
"Colonel, would you like me to assemble the team?" Massachusetts, the ships A.I. asked as Logan turned away from the Communications Room. "I still cannot understand why Hackett wanted an A.I. installed to the Mother of Intervention. He was always against it until now. But yes, to answer your question. Assemble the team." Logan stated as he stopped and looked at Massachusetts. Massachusetts nodded. He made the announcement over the ships intercom system. He also made several other announcements such as crew birthdays. He turned to Logan and said "I believe it is important for the crew to know when their fellow crew-members were born. And from what I've seen of you in these past few months, you're terrible at it." The Colonel couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "I may get used to you, I might just get used to you." He replied. Meanwhile, on-board the Staff of Charon, crew members were scurrying around trying to get the shields back online, but to no avail. Another barrage from the Mother of Intervention soon hit the Staff of Charon and with critical damage to the engines and life support. "Damn them! Fight for all your worth!" The Turian captain screamed into the intercoms of the ship. The first barrage fired towards the Mother of Intervention, but did not penetrate the shields.
-
"Colonel, we're ready to hit the relay on your mark." announced Emerson, the ships pilot. Logan turned his attention towards her and replied with a smirk "Well, let's not keep Aria waiting." Within minutes The Mother of Intervention appeared through the Mass Relay. Logan walked over to the War Room, where he began to place a call to Aria. While doing so, the loudspeakers crackled with 'Emerson's daily music selection'. The first song to begin playing was one of her personal favorites: 'Protectors of Earth'. Logan let the music fill him as he awaited Aria. Meanwhile, the side batteries of the Mother of Intervention were opening fire upon an Eagle cruiser. The Staff of Charon, the Eagle cruiser, was unprepared for such a quick attack. The first barrage from the Mother of Intervention's broadside weapons penatrated the shields and tore through their armor. Crew members and equipment alike were being flung into the endless wastes of space.

Character Name: Logan Howlett Character Race: Human Character Class: Soldier Facial Profile: http://img23.fansshare.com/photos/hughjackman/hugh-jackman-hugh-jackman-abs-559710834.jpg Gender: Male Age: Thirty Height: 6'5" Weight: 214.32lbs Eyes: Brown Hair: Dark Brown Weapons: M-99 Saber Assault Rifle X (recolored black), Scimitar Shotgun VII Armour/Clothing: T5-V Battlesuit Powers/abilities: None Weapon mods: Assault Rifle Thermal Scope Skills: Basic First-Aid skills, 20-20 Eyesight History/Background: Logan was born into a middle-class military family, situated in Boston, Massachusetts. Logan's family had a general dislike of aliens but he himself had no problem with them. His father had been a Colonel in the Alliance Navy and his mother had been a Captain of a ship. Because of this they were almost always away and he was left with his big sister Lucia. When Logan graduated high-school he enlisted in the Systems Alliance Marines, wanting to follow in his family's footsteps, and continue the tradition. During his training with the One Hundred Third Marine Division the Reaper War began. Logan's training was cut short when the Reapers hit Earth. Luckily he was able to get a shuttle off Earth during the attack. In his squad leaders untimely demise, Logan was promoted to Corporal and inducted into N7. Now, in the wake of the Human/Reaper war, Logan is now a Colonel, and is leading a small team of N7 Operatives. After his promotion he was granted a small cruiser (with a crew to match) which he named The Mother of Intervention. Admiral Hackett has sent Logan and his team on multiple missions across the Milky Way in the past few months, but his current mission is to head to Omega to assist Aria in retaking Omega. -
Logan switched back the radio's channel and spoke into it saying "Gonna have call you back dad. Stay on the line though. If I don't contact you in fifteen minutes... well try not to think about that." Before his father could respond he switched the channel again, but this time to Daniels frequency. With that finished he retook his aim and began firing at the Walkers. Three of them dropped and several more staggered back. Lucy looked out the window, trying to see Daniel in the gun store, or at the very least see what's going on inside.
-
After fifteen constant minutes of trying to raise Safehouse Arthur, Logan gave up and turned to his men. "Listen up people! Arthur isn't responding so we'll be heading back on foot. Thing is though, we'll need to split up. A whole platoon going through the city is a little noticeable. Get your s***, pick your partner and get ready to move in five minutes." Logan bellowed to his team, as he thought of how much he'd love to ring the neck of those Government f*****s who ruined the operation.
-
I leave for two weeks and look what happens! Time to make some changes :D
-
Logan called over the squads radioman. He took the radio and called into Safehouse Arthur. "Safehouse Arthur, come in. This is Colonel Logan Howlett, leader of Task Force 'Templars'. The target escaped via APC. We are currently tending to the wounded and captured. Awaiting orders, over." Meanwhile, Thorne was doing what he could with his wound, and seeing as the squad medic had a bullet in his head he'd need to work this out by himself. He ripped off a piece of his pants and tied it into a knot, in attempt to stop the bleeding.
-
"Enemy armor!" someone shouted. Logan peeked his head out from his cover to see the APC with an open hatch. He aimed down his sights to fire, but a nearby explosion, possibly from a grenade, sent him flying back into a tree, knocking him out cold. Logan awoke and tried to assess the damage. He noticed some small shrapnel wounds, but that was the worst of it. "Damnit..." He mumbled to himself, realising that his HK416 was missing. Logan got to his feet and darted over to cover and drew his .44 Magnum. He noticed that there were hardly any Government forces left, either all killed, or gone. The stragglers were being taken captive right now. He didn't see the APC anywhere however. He exited cover and walked over to where the rest of the Templars were. Just then there was a tap on his shoulder. It was Thorne! He turned to see Throne holding out Logan's HK416. "I think you dropped something sir." Thorne chuckled. Logan nodded and took the weapon as he studied Thorne for damage.
-
"Five. Five of these assholes put to rest." Logan thought to himself as he fired his Assault Rifle out of cover. He looked to his right to see the missions first friendly death; Jonas, the team medic. Howlett returned his attention towards the mission at hand, as he saw the target move in the midst of the firefight. "Target spotted!" He called out. The colonel aimed down his sights and fired off several shots, all of which missed. Thorne, the squads Designated Marksman fired off two rounds, one of which landed right in the target's thigh. As the general fell to the ground however, Thorne took a bullet to the shoulder. He fell to the ground, clutching his wound.
-
"I'll stay and watch the kids. If you find any 5.56 millimeter rounds in there, bring them back. I got a feeling I'm going to need some." Logan told Daniel as he looked around the bus, trying to get a good idea of what kids were old enough to shoot, and those that were smart enough to shoot a firearm, without killing someone. "Bring back whatever you can carry. I'll be here waiting." Myles walked up to where Lucy was sitting and lay his head down into her lap, and began to doze off. Lucy didn't mind, afterall they were friends. "If you're going in there, I'd recommend your Shotgun." Logan continued over the radio. He looked out one of the windows to see several Walkers converging on their location. "s***! Daniel! You and Curtis do what you have to do fast. I'll buy us some time." With that statement, Logan broke one of the windows and took aim with his Carbine.
-
The word had just gone through that a Government convoy had been hit. The government General would probably be leaving soon. It was now or never. And now seemed like the best idea seeing as he didn't intend to spend the whole night out in the goddamned wild. Logan Howlett turned around and bellowed "Templars! Listen up! We gotta act now if we're gonna have a chance at killing the target. Fire-team Alpha will flank from the left side, to draw their fire away from the right; Which is where Bravo will be going in to take out the target. In the event of Bravo failing, and Alpha getting wiped out, we have McGinn ready to blow the f***er's brains all over the ground." He was silent for several seconds. "Understood?" He asked loudly. The reply was simple. "Hell yah!" Bravo team, lead by Howlett proceeded into position, waiting for Alpha to start the fight. Sure enough, when they did it was a big one. "Alright that's out que. Let's go!" Logan announced into the communication channel. He proceeded with the squad, HK416 raised and ready to kill.

"Excalibat? Lucy what are you talking about?" the Colonel asked curiously over the radio. "I don't know daddy. It's just something Mr. Curtis was talking about." She replied quietly, as if trying to make sure Curtis didn't hear her. Logan turned to Curtis and announced "You and I will scavenge through the store. Daniel will stay here and discuss a plan with my Dad over the radio. If he's with the 4th Division, they'll have ammo, food and maybe even way out of Massachusetts."
