  1. I mean, the textures are definitely new. New resolution, etc. I'll probably be leaving parts of the texture intact,so I'd need to modern Remastered textures. I take your point, but I don' have a working computer to extract the files at all, so.
  2. A quest mod to romance Cutter from the Shivering Isles. I mean, she's sexy as hell, with her creepiness and everything- in Remastered especially, she's basically the Isle's Shadowheart, if Shadowheart could actually stickto acting goth. You could join the Duellists and show her your worth with a blade, have her forge you a matching set of Madness daggers and the surprise her by giving her one, and then go out and break them in on some Grummites together, sit on the roof of her shop, drink Sickly Bernice's Roofwater Wine together, and watch the sunset.
  3. So. I'm a retexturer, have been doing so since Morrowind. Currently, I'm working on textures for Expanded Settlements: New Sheoth. One problem- I do not have a computer that can run Remastered. I'm doing my retexturing on my tablet. Not a problem per se. I'm doing things like tapestries and fliers that don't need existing textures as templates, I just run up the concept in photoshop and shoot it off to the guy who's making the mod, and he'll put it into a texture. However- I'd like to get into clothing retexturing, and for that? I need the original texture. So- would someone mind terribly extracting the textures for the Upper Class Mania Regalia, male and female, and the Dementia Oatchwork shirt? Just the main textures, not the normals or anything. I'd be ever-so-grateful.
  4. F*ck I hope they just use an updated reworked Creation engine for ES6, I'll happily take last-gen graphics and animations over the crippling of modding, I really will.
  5. AlienSlof's Sheogorath Regalia retexture.
  6. It's basically a modern AAA game with every single DLC included. Why not?
  7. Dumb question- did you run the same check on old Oblivion? How do you know that wasn't built on Fallout 3's skeleton? Remastered uses (more-or-less) the same Gamebryo engine from Oldblivion (with tweaks, but still). Could just be legacy from the OG.
  8. I think OP meant for Remastered, not Oldblivion
  9. Like it says in the description. The Oldblivion mod RealSwords was a favorite of many players, giving us to s of swords and bows that were gorgeous, exotic, and yet based on actual blades from around the world. The RealSwords Goblin blades and bows were especially badass, perfect for any Orc warrior or Dark Brotherhood assassin. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15708 Walx, the author, has given permission for the port of RealSwords Goblin, and I would kill to be able to, well, kill with them again. The textures are quite simple, and while low-rez by Remastered standards were quite impressive by Oldblivion standads- as simple as they are, an AI smart upscaler can easily bring them up to modern graphical standards. For example, see below, the Goblin Cleaver texture upscaled with Freepik Ai Upscaler on Subtle Imagination, and the original texture.
  10. And Gates to Aesgaard 2! Best horror mod in Elder Scrolls history.
  11. I don't think anyone managed to back in Oldblivion- about the best we could do was remesh the staves a little and set them up as shields, which did allow you to do the Gandalf thing of using a staff and a sword at once.
  12. Can't believe I forgot Verona House: Bloodlines. House mod with a huge questline involving a vampire conspiracy.
  13. EDIT: Walx has allowed the porting and use of his RealSwords Goblin mod, and mandragorasprouts has granted permission to port her Vaermina shrine! Yay! So. One of the many classics of Oldblivion epic quest mods was Path of the Skullbearer: Truth of Corruption, a quest where you ventured forth into Vaermina's realm of Quagmire in order to put down a rebellion and reawaken the true power of the Skull. Amazing mod, a flawed gem that deserves far more love. I'm writing to sound out whether anyone would tentatively like to join a team to remake/ port the mod for Oblivion Remastered. We'd need modellers and texturers, scripters, etc. The usual suspects. I'm not more-or-less any of these, and my current pc can't even run Remastered, but I'm not actually useless in this- aside from being a Lore Nerd, I've been putting together a new soundtrack for the mod, mostly using ai to stitch together and remix various elements of other music, and can do some basic texture work. I've also been contacting Walx, the author of the RealSwords mod, for permission to port his RealSwords: Govlin mod, which was used in the original PotSB, and also reaching out to some Skyrim modders whose Vaermina Shrine replacement and monsters would make a great addition to Quagmire. Needless to say, this isn't a project where we could expect to do any of the main work now, or even in the near future, as Remastered is a harder game to mod and we need the scripting of the game to be better understood to port PotSB, but I'm just kind of sounding out if anyone would like to express tentative interest. 14. Ever look at Sheogorath's Regalia and think, "Man, this slaps, but isn't the whole bright-pink-and-gold theme a little bit Mania? Isn't he the god of Dementia, too?" Back in Oldblivion, AlienSlof made a wonderful retexture of the regalia based on Adam Adamowicz's concept art, diving the regalia into a purple and a green side to better suit the Madgod's divided nature. I would love to see a recreation of that idea for Remastered. I've attached a screenshot of the Regalia, with notes of what texture might look best for such a mod. Also was wondering if it would be possible to give Sheogorath one Golden Saint Eye and one Dark Seducer eye, instead of his current set of two Golden Saint eyes.
  15. Well, I remember in Oldblivion someone modded display plaques that could hold your weapons and shields, and they weren't perfect (sometimes you'd come back to a cell and all the weapons had fallen off) but maybe something based on those scripts could work? It was this guy's homes, iirc: https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/Lemunde?gameId=101 A modder could examine his scripts, and see if they can be adapted for Remastered? Otherwise, making new shelf models that are pre-cluttered, and setting them up as contained is the low-tech, scriptless, bug free way of doing it, and honestly I'd advise it.
