I was looking at mods to replace the awful FO4/76 MBT and the weirdly curved APC and was surprised to see not a single mod that replaces the MBT with a more in theme tank as the ones I found replace them with M1 and M1A2 Abrams Variants. The Patton family has already appeared twice in Fallout, once in FO4 itself and once in FO3 promotional material. Something like the M60A2 Starship with it's already retro-futuristic design and easily canonical existence could be tweaked with changes such as a longer barrel to make a great tank replacement that fits. The APC in game isn't as horrendous, but the turret placement and crew compartment along with the IFV rather than APC sized mounting space leave much to be desired. The M75 APC seems to be the inspiration for the FO4 APC somewhat, but it was a very limited in use and restricted in time use as well. Much like the starship, just replacing it with a more sensible vehicle such as the M75. I know a lot of mods (especially gun mods) like placing weapons in the open APC's but since the M75 is much larger I doubt it would break these mods if done right.
