The bosses part? it is sarcasm with truth lol.
Bosses and new creatures do add a certain amount of difficulty, it could be just what you need.I don't have decent suggestions for this you are asking X D
I will follow this thread to see if somebody makes a good one cos i want to know too, i play with no Armor and a 10mm in survival mode, the whole game start to finish lol,
I feel bad if i even use power Armor just to use what the game gives me lol.
Sorry if you felt the message had any strange meaning behind it, my bad, i just felt like explaining how crazy that mod could be if you used it to try and make the game harder.
-
What do you mean : o
Was my post so long you felt like i was punishing you for making you read it?
-
I have two ideas for you, 1 get my mod: Craftable Bosses - Spawn Super Gigantic and Strong Bosses and spawn as many as you can, let them roam the wasteland,
get wrecked when you find them, and have the whole wasteland empty cos they murdered everything.
Also have you seen mods that add boss like characters? that seems like a good bet for making the game harder, i have seen a bunch of mods so far adding creatures and boss like creatures, sounds like a good idea.
Also a good ol way is do what i do, push the difficulty to the max, and force yourself to 1 or 2 weapons, and play with no Armor at all, also completely avoid getting perks that give you more damage, i know, it's horrible not having a hard enough game, killing the games base mechanics shouldn't be the way i make it harder, but unfortunately it is the most effective way i have found for playing fallout games made by Bethesda.
My second suggestion is that you just go play "stalker shadow of Chernobyl", it is similar to fallout but it is sooo much harder.
Cheers!

Yay! Glad you made it
I will be keeping an eye out to see your creation when you release it!

Mate you got fadeout twice, isn't that the problem? wouldn't it be fade in?
Woops spoke too soon X D, i see now your booleaning around with the true and false.
Look when you use the "Game.GetPlayer().MoveTo(QSTtest_XMarkerHeading_cellarExit)" does it not call the normal function
of teleporting? it should include the fade in and out than. Does it happen that the function moveto, is different than "coc" would it be possible to find the papyrus script version of the "coc" console command? when i use that it always uses the fade! i think.. at least the fade in.
Do these things not happen in the game? you had to write a whole code doing what the game normally does? : o
Do doors and stuff do this too? use a script?
Sorry if i am not being helpful again
Please don't give up, we believe in youuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Good luck mate, you have been working on that for a while! Always annoying to be stuck... i am stuck myself right now lol.

Heya, how about instead of looking at scripts try looking at the buttons the file has, and more importantly, apparently, keywords are super important, maybe that is exactly what you need, a simple keyword saying it is supposed to work as X.
I have another idea that might help, right click the object in the creation kit but not the 3d window the object window, and click the bottom option where it shows everywhere where it is used, maybe it is used in a trigger quest somewhere or something else, i dunno but maybe that will help since it lists things you might not see when examining the properties of the object.

What i would explain applies as a per object basis ting. If it was in nifskope, you would basically copy the properties of a static object in fallout 4 there are some around, and paste it to the object that is moving around. but i have recently found a node that has a boolean statement (static? or not) lol.
If it works that is as dope as it gets for making static objects, would be fast as hell.
I think the user was talking about something i don't know anything about though.. and not really related to editing objects one by one with nifskope or creation kit...

Hello, i have no experience with this, but maybe try looking at doors in game and see how they do what they do.
And maybe you can figure it out that way.
Cheers! sorry if this is not helpful!

Hello, i don't know if this is going to help you at all.
But to test mods i am making because i am going to break quite a few things, so i use a program called mod organiser: https://www.modorganizer.org/
With this program, you can load up any mods you want and it is not effecting your current fallout 4 executable, it runs a separate instance, making it super useful for testing mods, ofc, you should always backup your saves, but another thing i normally do because i know stuff is going to explode!
I use this thing i learned recently, when loading up the game right at the start menu i open the console and type in "coc RedRocketExt" It makes it so i go straight in to the game and placed at red rocket with an already created character and new save game.
I actually don't type all that, i just use the mod i made to make this faster.. this one: "Cheating room with all items in the game" sorry for advertising my own mod lol, but it basically makes some bats in your fallout 4 folder to make this easier, instead of typing all that i just type "bat exit" and go straight to red rocket.
I hope any of this helps, if it does not i am sorry i wasted your time reading this.
Cheers!

Thank you for posting the answer to this, it might be helpful for others later!

I am sorry if this is not helpful, but i was doing some things recently and managed to do exactly that, but what i was doing was editing an object in nifskope.
So, if what you are doing is creating a settlement in a way that is not in game, you are basically making it in creation kit etc, i might be able to help you in making things static. Either by using nifskope or i might have stumbled upon another way to make objects static in creation kit.
Cheers!
-
Thank you! I am so grateful for this! it fixed a thing i was trying to do for a whole day!
I made an entire object for the first time in my life, in nifskope in 3 minutes, than to have the object have the correct properties took a whole day!
and was not working! thanks to you it is finally working as Bethesda made it originally! I am super grateful! I am going to build a shrine in your honor and pray to your wisdom everyday!
(I'm joking, but seriously, i am super grateful thank you!)
Cheers!

It says i don't have permission to see the content you posted, also you didn't need to contact the site my dude.
You could have just navigated the forum to go here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/forum/9063-suggestion-board/
and make a new post, read a bit what they wrote for guidance on how to make a proper post there, and do it like the person that made this post initially did.
Best of luck mate, Cheers!

The op? is that a common abbreviation of "original poster" that is stylish X D
I am basically asking for a more simple way to check if our mods are in a collection, the why that is, has several reasons but that's not what the post is about, it is more about us simply having easy(and faster if it is a lot of mods) access to know if they are in a collection or not.
But i am basically just asking "that" yes, "to make things easier"
If we have lots and lots of mods, we won't be very inclined to search one by one with the current method to check if they are in a collection, and that means even if they are included somewhere we don't want it to be, we will probably not know because we don't want to take the time and effort to look for if the mod is currently in a collection or not. Sorry i guess i didn't write it that well, i should try and be even clearer.
About removing mods from a collection:
I believe we can already ask for the removal of a mod from a collection, no? without asking the "curator"?
Like ask the nexus staff through support email or otherwise?
-
Hello, acidzebra i am quoting you in the spoiler, don't be upset with me for this comment please,
Spoiler"The correct line of action there is not to request your mod to be excluded from the collection, but to report the mods and collection as it violates TOS. Also, hearsay."
About the "hearsay" comment, i just wanted to make it more obvious by mentioning the comments i have read so far, i won't dismiss the comments right away, from what i have learned about collections it makes sense that this might have happened several times already.
(from what i understand collections keep mods even if they are banned or deleted)
But the point is, what if it's something you really don't agree with, more than it is an anti-Semitic mod in specific, the mention of a comment i can't even find is just an example to drive a point, i do mention that there are surely plenty more "legit" reasons to want your mod removed from a collection.
And just to be clear it was more than one comment already, and i am pretty new here(in the sense of actually reading anything anyone writes).
Why mention it being hearsay, isn't it obvious when i say "from someone's comment somewhere", I was not hiding what it was, i think i was pretty clear it was hearsay.
guys don't you agree with the suggestion? where is the upvote tingy
Also if you want me to modify the suggestion to include something you guys think is important that was not mentioned, feel free to suggest it here, and if we reach a consensus i will request to modify it to include/exclude that information.
PS: About the reporting, i personally would possibly feel bad for reporting a collection if a lot of people use it, if just because of one mod or two, i don't know how that is handled, but i can see it being a bother if someone downloaded the collection and wants to go get it again for some reason and now it is gone, removing one mod would probably not break it's functionality completely, but this is just a personal opinion, the decision made by the mod owner, that wants to remove his mod from a collection or report the collection is arbitrary for the user that wants to take action.

Aww... i will never be able to reference the solution as well as you did before
Ty! i will make this post make more sense now.
-
Elow,
Well you are commenting on a suggestion that was made for something else, you need to create your own post for this, i am not sure we should even be discussing this so much in an off topic post
About me personally and the name changing, as i said i do realise that, it has happened to me countless times, i only do it right when i post it, when i have like 4 people max that downloaded it.
I also do a nifty thing which i am not sure helps, i add a title like this: "title" than that stays, but than i add a - and that's where i change the details of the mod.
so the main name of the mod is one thing but than i have the details after this "-", something like "title - of a mod that does things", i don't know if that helps but it must help a little bit
the reason for that is exactly for people not to be looking for it and the name is changed, and i do this just out of respect for like 4 people that downloaded it lol.
-
Yay, congratulations!
I hope you did not lose things though. in case you did, you will have some tips from us
Good luck with what ever you are doing!
PS: don't worry, i will admit i read the post while wearing sunglasses and hanging upside-down while my cat pressed all the keyboard buttons(as in i did not read it very thoroughly), but i was half right, with the surge thing, it is normally data loss, you might have had to use a recovery program, glad you didn't tho.
Cheers!

I'm glad you jumped in subaverage, because i was not sure what happened either...
If the case is what you are saying and not the data loss i assumed it was, it would be quite pointless to try recovery programs when you can just try and connect the hard drive somewhere else, although if it is a laptop or you don't know how to set apart a desktop and remove the drive, that might be a bit difficult, maybe svenskarav will have to go to a computer technician to just remove the hard drive and make a copy to another drive for example.
Ps: if you do go to a technician try to make sure you explain yourself as thoroughly as possible so the technician understands you just want to pass the data from one drive to another, not format, not reinstall windows, etc, or he might just delete most of your stuff by "accident".
Cheers! and good luck svenskarav.

That is a good logic, but personally i do like to change the tittle, not too much though so it isn't lost, but sometimes it just needs something.
I normally only do this as soon as i release it because not many have downloaded it, and i just don't like what i decided was the tittle, cos i totally get what you are saying, i always think of that.
I suggest you go over to the suggestion board and make two suggestions, one where you suggest not letting modders change the title unless approved by a moderator(which i will be honest, they are probably not going to like that, because there is a lot to moderate already, it would be too much extra work)
And another suggestion to suggest they warn the user when changing the tittle.
These suggestions will than be voted by us the users, and hopefully if many people upvote, it will be implemented to the site.
Telling us about this here is probably not going to do much for the community changing their ways, you really should go over to the suggestion board and make these 2 posts, or 1, whatever you want
Cheers!

Glad you worked it out, it sounds like a masterpiece(no joke)
Cheers!

Does anyone know any good gameplay mods?

lol, anomaly is a horror game?
Who is john raider? But you are right, having the npc's have infinite life, or you having no life at all is not the optimal way to make games harder.
Best way is really a good A.I, and difficult situations, thus me suggesting the first stalker game, fallout 4 being an rpg, can become quite broken cos we just know games like this and play them a lot, so we can figure out how to break them too quickly, than it becomes dull cos we are too strong lol.
Stalker is made in a way where you can't really go breaking the game, it will always be hard enough that you are going to die, it is made a lot like the old games where you get hit very few times to die, maybe just 1 good shot and your gone.
I'll be honest though, it is not impossible to play survival mode in fallout 4, you just need a few mods to stop it from being so strange.
Like a mod to stop making the enemies be bullet sponges and make you super weak, 1 to let you save and 1 to let you use console commands.
I'm off for now, have a good one! Cheers!
