" Dragon Age " yes , this was also mention in the stolen throne right when the battle of river dane was about to start Loghain saw/hear a dragon flying in the frostback mountains appear while talking to Rowan before sunrise thus it was called dragon age according to the book.
but the thread starter ask specifically Why is it called "Dragon Age: Origins"? <=== this actually refers to the individual story of the race you choose in-game as a warden :biggrin: thus the word Origin :thumbsup:

Open DAmodder(double click) and drag the extra dog slot icon(DA Content) thru the DA Modder and install
to use the extra dog slot in-game just click the whistle except in camp

When I did the Bella scene, in response to a request, I did start a scene for Kaitlyn. I do not anticipate finishing it, but if someone wants to finish it, let me know and I will get the builder to builder file to you. All it is set to do is replace the kiss scene, no modification to the dialogue. It's set in the back of the Chantry behind the shelves that are to the left hand side of Teagan when you first meet him (your right hand side).

what alister is wearing is called Blood Armor Retexture Grey Warden Armor made by fallingangel89 but you first need the Mass Effect 2 Blood Dragon Armor for this retexture to work properly this one is made by sierra-357 . download this first and follow the installation process http://social.bioware.com/project/2611/ then this 2nd http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1151

it's sad really (skill wise)for 2 hand warrior Bio should have interchanged Dual Wield tiers and 2 Hand i mean 2 hand are already slow enough to actually do a descent DPS especially when facing Elite or Boss types creatures and bio decides to give them only 1 AOE skills 2-hand sweap IMO 2 hand should have at least 2 AOE skills as they are actually skill dependent bc of their slow (atspd) as to compensate their DPS and Mob Controlling abilities.a Dual Wielding Class should only have 1 cause let's face it they are actually build as a back-stab one on one IMHOO.

I voted for Dual Wield because i like the force death blow SFX ,I like chopping of the heads of my enemies it has 2 SFX deathblows the one you stick a dagger and chop the head and the other one is when you twist and chop the head with a main right hand weapon .it is also a good mob controller it's the only skill tree that has two AOE skills i just run around mob+mob+AOE swoosh. and they all lie dead that's with a descent sword and dagger of course :smile:

So.. Aw is a tank.. Not my type ;D Hmm.. BM "very good class" Yea thats what all says but still cannot understand him.. Maybe I will be Healer/BM/ and battlemage after i get to 22lvl ;D
Can u tell me which spells to learn? Primary etc.. ;D
Edit: Tried Ranger.. Mm the best DD in the game? Strange.. My archer was very slow, and critted only for 60dmg.. The only skill that was good was Arrow of Slaying(or something like that) It hits 250+ :)
if your gonna be a Blood Mage try to get the active spells first winter's grasp+stone fist combo (shattering)or for Close combat Cone of cold+Stone Fist just be careful when you use cone cold as it is an AOE spell and will also freeze your companions sustained abilities i always go for death syphon , spell wisp and spell might with cleansing aura from the healer tiers and all the BM tiers.
for battle mage get all battle mage tiers especially hand of winter and on mage tier get the second set and 1 of first tier in the 3rd set of skills under mage Fade shield, attunement , elementary skill , time spiral(important)as it reset your cool down timer from all skills and repulsion as for the rest of the remaining skill point you can try to experiment for other combo spells that suits your play style

Bloodmage - I use hp for spells insteand mana, Whats good on that? :D
BM is a very good class i use this classs as a supporter/controller to hold mobs and gain advantage over the enemies i also combine this with a healer class since blood mages only require a small amount of Mana to cast spells and they use Hp . stats would be Magic/Constitution/willpower
Arcane Warrior - I coudnt say anythink bout him, didnt understand him.. I tried to read some guides but all they say is that they use armor spells.. And I readed that he does alot of dmg, but how? I tried to play him but all I could do is use 1-2 spells cuz I activated my armor spells like guides said.. And hitted with the sword for 40-50 dmg..
Arcane Warriors are a very good tank the heavier the armor the better as it ads more damage /DMG = magic the higher the magic the better the damage you deal.Magic = 1 spell power that is the ratio you get. as Ive said Arcane Warriors are better tank than pure warriors Simply because of the sustained abilities AW can use. In the expansion i like to use Healer/AW/Battle Mage . stats would be magic Will power but more on magic the higher the magic/spell power the better.
as for rangers they are the Best DD in game i prefer to use critical based attacks on my archer I use AIM + Weak Point & rapid aim Equips

I like this idea of discovering the Lost elven culture of the dalish their arcane secrets old elven treasure and the connection between the fall of the elves and their gods and more of the Lost thaigs in the deep roads and the Forgotten Thaigs/culture and the legion of the dead that scoured the entire deep roads dedicated to fight their ancient enemy the darkspawns till their last breath i want more stories on that i find them interesting and of course morrigan and the demon baby as well as flemeth. what her true motives for warning king maric & loghain at the stolen throne for the coming blight and the true reason why she allowed morrigan to accompany the 2 wardens to defeat the archdemon I'm not convinced that the only reason was just to conceived a baby and may be possessing this Child in the future since it has the soul of the old gods and that would make her powerful beyond her wildest dreams lol i know there's more to that story than bioware is telling us (DA2 perhaps), I also would like to see the continuation story of allister may be he was called to weishaupt fortress by the wardens for a royal visit and may be meet her mother perhaps? do a reunion or something.something to find a closure in his story.
i also would like to see my old pal Oghren and all those farts/passing out/and sexist remarks that i find entertaining most of the old traveling companion not by accompanying the warden in his new journey but more of a side quest and what happened to their lives when they last saw the warden lol there are many more that i would like to see from the upcoming expansion(if there will ever be one) or may be DA2 in that matter but these listed here are what i am more interested in seeing first.
I don't know about the flying gryphons though since they are extinct and all. hmmm

I tried the enchantable weapons mod over at fileplanet. Didnt work after patch 1.02.
Your best bet is winter forge. You can pretty much make a weapon or armor exactly how you want it to be in game, and with the latest version, can custom craft your own runes. (You'll still need to step over to sandal to make him happy by putting them on your gear tho).
I tried that as well sad to say it gave me a lot of problems when i imported my stuff in awakening only to found out that mod messed up my awakening armor slots ... didn't figure it out until i uninstall and re-install my game 2 or 3 times it's a pain really then i found out that was the mod that caused all my problems i should have just uninstalled the mod (im soo lame) instead of uninstalling my entire game lol apparently it has something to do with the GDA files in my override folder geeze so now since the staff and bows in game are not enchant able i just use a different mod to put sockets and uninstall them again lol and winterforge XD

i can see all that frustration! left you sick :geek: take a break and get some rest for awhile :( just wait for the EA techies to fix things all you have to do is wait I'm afraid & let them do their job.

Admins should really do a sticky thread with all lists of Abbreviation and Acronyms just like in other forums on the net for a much easy understanding , people can also add if some are missing/lacking in to that thread.
makes it more convenient for other people who can't understand the shortcuts to search and read the terms that they don't understand. :thumbsup:

I believe the Poster meant the Winter's Breath from DLC .
@ r5r4y you don't need to defeat the archdemon to import the staff you just need to save and import/load it to awakening , sorry i forgot to mention that part i should have made it clear and for that i apologize. now if you followed the instruction by Rustyblade you wont have any problems importing these equipments to the expansion.

hey stardusk maybe he is from this community i hear they also make good modes and custom weapon & armors as well , so i checked it out *snip* may be you might find what you're looking for i just recently looked around at that site and gave up . i can't understand Russian even with an online translator Lmao

Update: BW has released an update about the patches on their site as a sticky. It is not much but I hope it helps
it's about fcking time i say, people are ranting since the release of these expansion and finally they taking some actions to fix these bugs i just hope they wont cause anymore problems from the new and upcoming patch than it already is..........
