mainly what happens is if i apply a mod, it will not work and the file will be there for nothing, i srsly need help on what to do maybe some remote assistance?

I seriously need help with my oblivion files. the story is, my brother was adding some dupe item spell mod or spell, I cannot remember. And he replaced the regular mod program to run on. I will take a picture and see if anyone can help me with my problem..
