  1. I literally laughed out loud when I got to "My Little Pony mods." Was not expecting that. I won't be part of the Skyrim modding fun for a while as I'll be going PS3 for Skyrim. But, I'll be keeping an eye on the mods for the day when I do get a good PC.
  2. I saw a good post about this on GameFAQs, and another somewhere else on the interbuttz. I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to make sense. Zenimax has to file the papers, send the legal whatsits, or do whatever because "The Elder Scrolls" is trademarked and "scrolls" contains part of it. Regardless of which way it goes--and Zenimax may not expect to win--if they didn't try to protect their trademark, some one down the line could make a TES knock-off with "scrolls" in the title and Zenimax or Bethsoft or whoever couldn't say anything because they didn't say anything when Notch used "scrolls" for his game.
  3. This is my first post in the forums section of the site, so I apologize if I've picked the wrong subforum for this. There is an oldish custom race, Soqui Race, which I love. But it has a few quirks I was hoping to 'fix' for my personal use. They may or may fall under the definition of "bugs," but fixing them will be kind of technical, so I'm putting this in the Troubleshooting Forum. Right now, I'm trying to add textures to the genitals on Robert's Male v5 for the race. The textures for this race are a little different from others, though, and I'm a bit confused. If you look at the footmale.dds file for other races, the body is in the middle and the naughty bits are in the bottom-right corner. But, the soqui race's footmale.dds has a 256x256 patch of fur in the top-left and the rest of the 1024x1024 square is transparent. If I put my texture for the twig-and-berries in the spot that it is usually, it will look right in Nifskope, but the rest of the lowerbody is black (the alpha channel). I guess the way the texture was set up, putting something in the empty area messes up the alignment of the texture. Is there any way I could do this without making a whole new texture? I don't run around Cyrodiil naked that much, but it's nice to have the option, y'know? Any input will be appreciated.
  4. It's because of people like this that we aren't living in moon mansions right now. "You wanna try and do something useful, today?" "No, let's try to get peoples' accounts on a forum and use them as leverage to get screenies from an upcoming video game." "lol, k." But, I suppose stopping this kind of stuff from happening for good would mean controlling the internet, and I kind of like my Wild West internet.
