  1. No idea what a memtest is, I'll have to look it up. AFT is pretty new, as in I only added it into the mix recently. I installed it after I started having issues running Moonlight Tales with that other follower mod which I have temporarily forgotten the name of. They were incompatible, but I'll try getting rid of it and see what happens. I was having CTDs before then though, but hey, it's worth a shot.
  2. Well, my computer likes CTDs. It CTDs with other Bethesda games (I was posting about this very issue on the NV Nexus last week, as it would happen) and also with non-Bethesda games such as The Sims, and also occasionally IE, Google Chrome and Microsoft Word. It really, really likes CTDs, like I said. It's been doing this with Skyrim since I first installed the game (Steam, Legendary Edition), and will usually do it after 1-2 hours of gameplay, but sometimes after only 10-20 minutes. CTDs are random, sometimes upon entering or exiting an interior, sometimes in combat, sometimes upon entering or exiting conversation, some just running around town or roaming the wilderness. I get around it by saving regularly. I fixed most, if not all of my CTDs on NV with a mod called Mission Mojave. I was wondering if there were any similar mod-based fixes for Skyrim? Note that I get CTDs even when I run my game with no mods on a completely new save, but my currently installed mods and load order are as follows, in case you think it relevant: Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm Falskaar.esm Chesko_Frostfall.esp DawnsPoshPonies.esp Convenient Horses.esp SkyUI.esp Cloaks.esp 1nivWICCloaks.esp Brevi_MoonlightTales.esp 3DNPC.esp RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp RND_Dawnguard-Patch.esp RND_HearthFires-Patch.esp RND_Dragonborn-Patch.esp AmazingFollowerTweaks.esp And that's it. (I haven't actually run the game with Falskaar in the mix yet.)
  3. Installed Mission Mojave. Played for 70 mins straight with no CTDs. Will have to do more testing, but for now CTDs seem to be fixed. Still have the issue of freeze on exit, however.
  4. Never reported any issues before, so I'm not really sure how to go about it. I'm running the latest Steam version with all the DLC, downloaded it about a week ago, literally. First issue: Game always freezes upon exit, has done so since the very first time I started up the game, and I then have to Ctrl+Alt+Del and open the Task Manager to close the programme manually. This happens will all exit options, whether I: - Quit from Esc Menu - Exit to Main Menu and quit from there -Open console and type 'qqq' Note: Alt+F4 does not work on my computer. I'm running a laptop, and F4 seems to have an alternate function than usual. (Similarly, on my old desktop, F5 used to refresh the page. F5 now controls the camera. If I press F4, regardless of whether I'm holding Alt or not, I get microphone control.) I assume the freeze would be the same anyway if Alt+F4 worked or not. I've tried a couple of fixes, including something to do with restoring caches or something on Steam, but that has not fixed the issue. Second issue: the game ran fine, minus the exit freeze, for perhaps the first ten hours of gameplay. Then I started to get random crashes to desktop. I'm running the game with NVSE. I have three other mods, in this load order: - The Mod Configuration Menu - The Follower Cheat Menu - Four Legged Friends As far as I'm aware, there are no incompatabilities, but I'll go and check again. I've tried modifying the .ini file, as recommended by some people as a CTD fix, but that has not sorted the issue. I'll uninstall the mods and see if that's the problem, but I have a funny feeling it isn't. The CTD started cropping up for the first time maybe five hours time before I installed MCM or the Follower Cheat Menu. Figured it was a once-off, but it's been slowly getting worse the longer I play. I've had Four Legged Friends for the whole play-through. CTD will happen sometimes upon FT, sometimes in combat, sometimes in conversation, sometimes when I'm just running around. My system: Don't know much. I'm a bit computer illiterate. I have 6 GB of RAM and am running Windows 7. I have 2 graphics cards and they seem to switch between them depending on the task the computer is performing, but they're both up to scratch.
  5. Eagerly looking forward to the release of this. It looks very good. I can't wait.
