  1. I have tried this, but it gives some error at the start that it could not find some EW files. I tried continueing anyhow, but it didn't work. I'm looking for the log file, but for the life of me, I cannot find it at the moment. I'll report back when I have found it.
  2. Hi there. Thanks for the reply. Log File: no errors seen here whatsoever. Installation folder: no. I do not install in the standard C folders. Steam offline mode: tried playing in offline mode, but it did nothing. Anti-virus: none was running. Steps in troubleshooting: done them all, multiple times. No dice. I'll try to read the installing mods wiki asap to see if anything pops up. Some additional info: Apparently, I can press the accept button in the map screen. It then continues to an error I've heard about before: it shows 4 people in the dropship and afterwards hangs while on a black screen. Mouse is still moveable, but nothing happens apart from that. Checked the log file, but no critical errors were found.
  3. Hi there everyone, After seeing a Long War let's play, I decided to start a playthrough of it once more. However, as I installed the latest version (b15.3f) onto a clean install of XCOM, I ran into some issues. Right at the end of the installation, when an error came up saying "XCOMModHelper stopped working". I clicked away the error, and the installation finished without further issues. Then, as I attempted to start the game, the world map was empty; I wasn't able to select a starting country. I uninstalled XCOM completely, updated my .net, reinstalled both XCOM and Long War, but the issue remained. I have also done a clean XCOM reinstall, remove all other local XCOM files in the my_games/XCOM folder, but it still doesn't work. I was hoping any of you know how to fix this.
