  1. In my current playthrough, Codsworth got stuck between being recruited and dismissed. I could be in downtown and he'd stay in Sanctuary, but when I used AFT's "gather all loose items" the items would go to his inventory. Some might consider that a useful way to get junk back to the settlement, I guess. Fortunately the commands quoted below were successful at dismissing him. I'll put them into a batch file for future use.
  2. I keep the last 10 "non-automatic" saves for any particular playthrough. So when I find that I can't load a save file, or am getting constant crashes, 10 save games are usually enough to find an earlier save that isn't broken. My longest play-through reached level 111 on modded Survival (and it turns out there are no grinding perks after level 75) so my technique may work for you.

  4. SKK Settlement Attack System does a ton of things besides what's been mentioned so far. The point of disabling vanilla attacks is the mod's attack system replaces them. The mod tends to pick settlements that are near your current location, and if you were in Far Harbor and got a message about Sanctuary being attacked, you can cancel the attack.
