This is a very useful topic. It's also been bugging me for a while, but I've been afraid to even PM a moderator with the question. I dearly love the Nexus sites, and would hate to ever lose access to them.
So, I'll provide thanks:
CommanderCrazy, for having the courage where I didn't to ask the question,
Dark0ne, for the explanation of how to use the English language properly, so no one gets the wrong idea about what you're doing, and
AlienSlof, for showing me that I'm not the only one who cares that much about his game disks.
Thanks to everyone!

Here's the reason why it took me a year and a half to beat the original game.. No, the Complete 2009 mod doesn't change any of the story (if you were using one particular beta version of Oblivion Lost, then it'd be a different story).
Which lab are you talking about exactly? Until I know for sure, I won't be able to give you specific help.
This invisible enemy sounds to me like a poltergeist. You won't get a chance to kill it yet, don't worry too much. Just dodge the flying objects and you'll be okay. Check your map, and make sure that you've checked absolutely everywhere. I can't tell you how many times (First with SoC, then with Clear Sky and CoP) that I've missed a doorway or useful hole for weeks (real-time). The game was made in part as a survival-horror title. Even if they don't actually say so on their website, it's true. Everyone who's ever played the game has had your same reaction to the underground labs. Just take a deep breath, check your ammo, and keep your eyes peeled for inconsistencies. Trust me, they're everywhere.
PS:  for choosing Nexus.

I have to agree with rano on this. I own both the retail Oblivion GOTY release and the Oblivion all DLC Steam edition. I've played with Deadly Reflex on both of them, without any problems. In order to fix Vista's Oblivion issues, you have to install the game outside of Program Files.
You're going to hate me for saying this, but you probably need to reinstall Steam outside of Vista's reach... sorry.
EDIT: I say "Vista" ambiguously, since Windows 7's UAC is exactly the same, just with dumber English to describe it.

I also love the DB quests.
Lately, however, I've been using alternate start mods and I've turned off fast travel, so I think more in terms of what my character would do, rather than what I would do. It adds a whole new level of awesomeness! It's like a double-decker awesomeness cake with awesome frosting!
Anyway, my favorite city is Chorrol.
@lobo1010: I've also caught myself playing with corpses. XD It's really waaayy too much fun!!

I think there might be a way to keep the original wishes of the game's creators, along with allowing you to have a legit fight. If someone could look at the script (I might do it later this week, too much on my plate right now), then there might be a way to change it that he only stands there till he's at say one-half of his total health. Then he starts fighting. I might be completely off, however, and there could be absolutely no way to change this. :/

I'd like to know this as well. While I do utilize a nudity mod for realism's sake (they didn't have underwear during the time this game is based in), I don't like viewing all of the other mods that seek to make abnormally sized breasts on female characters.
I believe that you can use qualifiers in your searches to refine them, removing unwanted things (in your case, hentai). I'm not sure where I saw it, but I do seem to remember it. I'll look around, and if I find it, I'll edit this post with a link to the page.

am i doing something wrong(imoral and / or illeagle?

I'm not 100% sure (I haven't fully read the EULA in about 4 years) but I believe that you are allowed to make a second copy of your game disk, provided that:
1) You do not profit from it in any way
2) You don't make the disk image available online for download (This one may not be as viable in this day and age, I'm not too sure) [better safe than sorry!]
and..
3) You have previously bought the 100% legit retail copy of the game (This one obviously doesn't apply here, but I thought I'd provide all stipulations with making copies of CDs, DVDs, or BluRays. (Not too positive that I spelled that right)
Hope this answers your question!
