In KCD1 there were 1 or 2 times were the game took all your gear from you which you could eventually get back. However in KCD2 it happens so often it stops being a realistic portrayal of a story and more an annoyance. Especially when the game doesn't always give it back to you set up with your presets and you have to manually re-equip everything. To me it's stopped being a fun game play aspect of the story and is instead an annoyance. If possible I'd like a mod that makes it so your gear can never be taken. Not sure if it would have to go into the story code and toggle the flag for gear taken or something to off at key points or what?

The hair color in this game needs some work if its even possible. Any lighter colored hair choices at character creation end up looking fake and grey. Can't make a good blond and white is anything but white. ** Just noticed that I spelled Request in the title wrong. Oh well damage done. **

I know it's frostbite and a pain to mod but some people did do some decent mods for DAI so tossing this out there in case someone can pull it off. The landing and takeoff of tempest from locations Is cool an all the first ... couple times you do it for a location. But after seeing it over and over and over and over it gets old REALY fast. Worse you can't skip it. I know it's there answer to the loading screen but come on some of us have fast computers that can probably load everything needed in a fraction of the time. So if possible a mod that speeds up the entire video sequence so it takes less time.

I understand ahead of time if this may not be possible but tossing it out there in case someone knows how to do it and is willing to for fun. (I also did a search and didnt notice any similar requests. I apolagize ahead of time if this has been requested before and I just didnt find it in my search.) Ok, so I was just playing and up in my snazy bedroom looking out over the balcony and the cool (litteraly) scenery and thought to myself..... Sky hold is standing up in these glacier filled peaks. Why does it not have any snow or ice on the battlements much less the courtyard. Was it built over a volcano, does it have magic woven into its foundations? So was wondering if anyone could adjust skyhold to look like the winter wonderland it should given its location?

Infinite Amulet of Power Use

I think instead of unlimited use it might be easier to take a shop keeper and change some of their inventory items so that they sell unlimited amulets of power for all characters that originaly had access to them before they nerfed the game for 1 gold. Some individules have already made mods like this for recipies and crafting supplies, so the concept should be the same just using the file for amulet of power instead of the crafting material. Though if they do it I would hope they would choose a vendor that doesnt conflict with the other mods vendor choices such as the vendor at the crossroads in hinterlands were refugess are at, think thats the first vendor you come too in game if you don't count haven. -
I've seen some mods for invisible armor or clothes to some extent and was curious if someone could make an invisible staff mod. Just think it would be cool if instead of a staff the mage was just flinging magic from their hands type of an effect. All the animations they have with a staff in hand probably wouldnt look too out of place either with no staff. Would be even cooler though if the mod could also add an effect were the hands had magic around them for whatever rune type or staff type they were using. That might be asking too much though.

I actualy also suggested something like this awhile back, but what i wanted was a mod that disabled the class check on all locks bashable walls and mage interactables so any class could do any thing for soloing or one class only party's. -
I always thought it was unfair how the characters that use 2 handed weapons are limited to a max of 2 masterwork slots when crafting stuff. I was curious if it would be possible to change the slots on some teir 3 crafting weapon recipies (or any recipie for that matter) so that instead of the primary slot the master work slot and 3 attribute/skill/defence type crafting slots one of the 3 extra slots would actualy be a masterwork slot so you could put 2 masterworks on one item? Then it would be realy interesting if this can be done to make an item other then the primary slot nothing but masterwork slots and you would sacrifice the other bonus's for more masterworks for fun. For duel weild and sword and board types this would give them no bonus stats but 12 masterworks to dork around with.... humm 100% chance to use hidden blades on attack, or chain lightning or walking bomb or immolate then a couple left for gaurd on hit and or pull of the abys. sure would be overpowered, but would be fun.

Of Valefire, Locks, and Rocks

Figured i'd check back on this since ive noticed some more complicated mods poping up that change more than just textures now. Still wondering if this is possible with current modding abilities or it's something that is going to be too difficult to tackle? With how difficult the game is to mod I can understand if it's a bit of a pipe dream. -

Well.... if you undid that fix you'd pretty much be playing in god mode. Might as well just use the cheat engine and keep god mode on that makes it so you have permanant full focus. -
Mounts I've found are actualy faster then normal foot speeds even when not going at a full galop, part of the reason is they can go over terrain way way way easier then your regular on foot mode. Sure it doesnt sound like much but I've found it makes a pretty good difference in speed when trying to go a long distance when your not stopping to loot every resource node. So say if your using cheat engine to give yourself unlimited resources. Also I too never pick the mount upgrades because there practicaly worthless, but if im using cheat engine and give myself free inquisition perks and would like some added flavor thats different.

I'm not a modder so don't know how big a challenge this would be, but I always thought it was lame how your mounts didnt get improved looks when you got the ridding skill upgrades from inquisition perks. Would be cool if they gained like nicer saddles and then perhaps armor when upgraded to make it visualy look as if the mounts became more resistant to damage.

Soooo I noticed something this patch, I've beaten the game a few playthroughs and now like to dork around and don't use the cheat engine but would give my characters some extra skill points by doing the loot all but one item and leave causing it to respawn and be lootable again trick with certain amulets of power. This patch they nerfed that, for instance the amulet of power in crestwood you used to be able to do this with for your main character now ONLY has the amulet of power period. So once you loot it no more. The amulet of power for vivian in the villa thing in Emerald Graves didnt even show up like they got rid of it all together and replaced it with i think a crappy life ward amulet. Havnt had a chance to check others yet.

I'd like a mod that removes class requirement for activating mage rogue or warrior specific things so that I can bash a wall down with anyone, pick a lock with anyone or activate mage interactables with anyone. This way I can play thru with more interesting group sets ups or even go through completely solo. (I tried using the serch feature to see if there was a request for this but either my use of search was bad or i typed the wrong keywords to find anything and didnt find anything, I image this would be a common requested thing but also didnt notice a request so if this is a duplicate of a similar requested thread please feel free to lock/delete)

Let me start by saying I did a search on this and I am also aware of the very very outdated annoyance remover mods. I'd like to request to the modders out there that someone make a mod that gives options to the user to remove the visual effects for any buff of their choice. This way if someone likes certain buff visuals but hates others they can keep the ones they like and disable the ones they don't instead of relying on an all or nothing type mod that is also outdated and buggy.

Well what do you know, I even looked through various mods I just missed that one thanks for the link. However reading some comments it seems the mod has issue with locking out characters 2 handed weapon skills so only download it if you play characters that use duel wielding skills. So I probably won't download it unless that gets fixed.

I looked around a little and couldn't seem to find something on this already so I apologize ahead of time if I missed it. Was wondering if anyone is working on or planning to work on a mod that would make it so characters (maybe restrict to warriors) would be able to wield a 2 hander in one hand if they had a high enough str score? Maybe even put on the 2 handed weapons next to the normal required str a second required str for wielding 1 handed so larger or more powerful 2 handers you come across may be able to be wielded in 2 hands but not one even though you had already been using a 2 hander in 1 hand type of a thing and then once your str is high enough you can equip it in one hand.

Problem with No Helmet Hack

I'm new to using the mods on this site but I'm also having a problem with this mod and im betting it's just some dumb mistake I haven't figured out or I'm overlooking. I downloaded both the origins and awakenings version of no helmit hack and installed them using DAO-modmanager and it reads compatible and I have a couple other working mods all ready installed in mod manager but for some reason this one even though installed is doing nothing no special book or hidden cloak slots are added like the mod says are supposed to be added. I looked over as much info as I could about the mod in the description area were you download it and also checked the pages of posts were you download it and can't find out why it's not working. Other mods I currently have running are natural bodies and merchant price change and skip the fade but don't see how these would conflict. (though I just installed skip the fade so haven't seen if its working either.) EDIT ADD: Ok I got it to work finally, I ended up using the DAupdater instead and it worked fine through that couldnt get it to work using the modmanager
