Hmm... NV isnt an expansion pack. Its a complete game. Therefore, you dont need FO3 to play it. I dont know what youre even talking about. And to answer your question, I have non steam F03 UNINSTALLED and it works fine. Other then massive lag, but thats a different thread <_<

I think I have everything as low as it goes/disabled, but I'll look for shadows. When I try to upgrade my graphics cars, it says unsupported hardware/software, eventhough I entered he right info.

Dual Core 2.0 ghz ATI Radeon 3100 3 GB RAM Thats all that effects it right? Its pretty fail, but it works for most stuff. Got it for $300.

Hi, I just got my copy of NV, and it lags really badly. It seems to have the same engine and graphics of fallout 3, which runs at like 40 fps on medium, but this is running at like 10 fps on low... It's annoying, please help. The other strange thing is that it's higher fps outside, and lower when inside or during conversations. I downloaded that .dll you put in the new vegas folder and stuff, and it's still really laggy.
