  1. In the mesh the triangles are still there transparent or not in the texture.

You would need to remove the triangles in the mesh not the texture.

AND that is really hard to do with out the blender. Not that I've ever been able to get that thing to work and even if you did you need to convert it to nif bla bla bla (lost me long ago)

But that would be the easy way if you possibly could get all that working ... other then that you can edit the triangles in Nifskope from the Nitrishapdata in a given block.

Click the shirt ... should take you to the correct block, you should see a bunch of triangles (like in your 2nd pic) - then click the Nitrishapdata then in the right column you should see a listing that says triangles.

Open that up and click on one ... it will highlight in the picture. (so you know what one your on). - then find the ones lower on the shirt and delete them ... save as a different .nif file ... Put your new mesh in a folder

in the real mesh folder ... exp: meshes/mymod ...

THEN go to the real shirt in the kit and rename the base object (edit base) ... yes to new form ... then edit the new forms base and point it at your new mesh.

Alright I found what you're talking about, but there's no option on deleting the triangles.

  2. Hey there,

I've been trying to make a part of the existing "prisoner clothes" transparent because I wanted the shirt to be shorter and a different color. I edited the texture of the clothing and made the excess part of the shirt transparent.

However, what I'm struggling with is deleting that excess part. In game, blood still sticks to the transparent part of the shirt. As you can see from the picture below, it acts as if the transparent part still exists.

I went through all of the steps of adding NiAlphaProperty and all that, however, when I changed the NiTriShape property to match the value of the new NiAlphaProperty, this happened:

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. If you need any additional information, I can give it to you.

    Thank you
