  1. well thats weird. i thought it had something to do with the skinning of the model but if its happening with a static model it must be something else
  2. Bump, i would really like someones input. the only thing stopping me from releasing some mods is these darn shadows looking so funky

Hello, ive been working on some armor sets and i keep runing into funky shadows with my models http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/9975/tesv2012030717085919.png this only seems to happen outside, indoors the shadows on the body look just fine. anyone have any experience withthese kinds of problems?
  4. Hello im trying to make some ground objects for my armor set but i am at a snag, im not sure how to work them in the hierarchy in nifskope. when i try to load it in the creation kit i just get an unpleseant crash. can anyone share how to create a ground object?

Hello, i need some help making global objects for my armor set. i took a look at the world object meshes in nifskope and they seemed to have very similar hierarchy to weapons. so i tried to go about it that way but as soon as i load it up in the creation kit it crashes. is there a tutorial on how to make global objects?
  8. Yes i have made both of those for the base of the armor(torso) and for the cape/boots/gloves. the boots and gloves work great. but when i try the cape it shows up invisible. i tried setting it to different biped object (unamed,calves,head) all resulting in the cape not showing up.
  9. Well the problem im having is that its not even showing up all. i add it in the CK then ill load the game up and it says i have the cape on but it doesn't show up.
  10. Hello i am currently working on an armor set, and the plan is to make a cape with it. Instead of making a set with a cape on, and a set with it off, i want to make it an add-on. i tried a few times with no success in the CK. has anyone had any experience with this?

  13. Hi, im working on a mod with a grave with loot in it and i want to have a sword sticking out of the ground. i tried to place it this way in the geck but when i load the game it just falls down. is there a way to make the object static?

Hello, i have been working on a pair of gauntlets to go with an upcoming mod and i have run into an issue with the hands clipping http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/5463/gauntletbug.jpg when just walking around with no weapons drawn it looks like the hands are clipping through themselves but when i go in for a closer look, the geometry of the hands is how it should be. anybody have any ideas why this is happening?
