:laugh: The "prowd nord" makes perfect sense. I like him better than the priest. :laugh:

True...with Human Flesh it is difficult since there are only 14 samples in the game. Luckly most apothecary merchants have a 21% chance of carrying 1-4 samples of Briar Hearts, Vampire Dust and Ice Wraith Teeth.(I'm playing thieve-merchant so scouting a Forsworn infested area looking for Briarhearts would be kinda suicidal...also avoiding vampires is a healthy option).

Luna Moth Wing, Nirnroot, Vampire Dust, Ice Wraith Teeth, Chaurus Egg - for invisibility potions.
Human Flesh, Briar Heart, Canis Root, Imp Stool, Swamp Fungal Pod - for paralysis potions
River Betty(common) and Salt Pile(common) - for slow potions (if you have the skill) or combine with paralysis ingredients :)

I also think it will involve a daedric deity (probably Meridia). Considering that Oblivion has Shivering Isles (Sheogorath's plane of Oblivion), I think were gonna see another plane this time Meridia's. And we all know what that means: KILL KILL KILL bilions of undead and necromancers and zombies and undead zombie-necromancers.I hope they chose a fun deity like Clavicus Vile or Sanguine.

i didn't bought it pre-build, the difference is from WHERE i bought it.you see if i were in the U.S. same PC i have now would have cost me arround 300-350$ (i've checked) were if i wanted to buy it in Ukraine it would cost aprox 2000-2500$. It's not realy my fault that i live in a crappy country that is 10 years behind in terms of technology. :(

I was speaking of RPG games in general. And please start a topic were you name 50 GOOD sidequests (not the faction or faction related quests or bountyhunting and clearing tons of bad guys).And about the PC, I buoght it with 1005 euros, that is about 1400$(maybe from were you are they are cheaper, you just didn't think) and i play skyrim on medium.

From personal poit of view this is the greatest news in "modern" gaming. I would LOVE to replay BG and BG 2 in any form not to mention enhanced edition !!! Finaly someone actualy thinks of the players rather than money.

The problem is that I have paid for the game just like many many other people and i want to play what they have promised not the hastly version of it.You should get used to this king of games cause the next one will be even more imposing. This is caused by the mindless jerks who by good gaming understand mass killing of all isolated bandidts and marauders in a game, if possible without speaking to any of the NPC's (THIS is why Beth made self starting quest). What happened to the good old RPG style: the role playng, the complex development of a character (attribute depending skill, special abilities depending on skills and attributes not the lazy jack of all trades maxed to 100 all whose slight difference are some lazy perks wich some of them don't even work or are usless), the talking to everyone just to get a slight hint on a quest, putting rumors toghether just to descover a location...? Why all the characters HAVE to be so important and everything has to evolve arroud you? Why NPC's have to talk non stop nonsense rather than not talk at all? Why have everything served on a platter and take the fun out of a game? I miss the intricate creation of Arcanum's characters, the unimportance of the characters of Icewind Dale and the brilliant questing and gathering information from Baldur's Gate. Even Oblivion had it's chalanges (not beeing a propper thief wouldn't land you at the top of it't organisation), sadly in Skyrim everythin that envolves thinking and planning has been taken from me, including the character development. I don't wanna be the Master of Everyone, I don't want to lead the Thieves Guild and The College of Winterhold with a mindless warrior, or be the harbringer of The Companions with a sneaky thief. Despite the graphics, the games mentioned above provided me with thousands of hours of fun, for me and my friends (the multyplayer on BG 2 and IWD 2 are just superb) without having to invest just above 1.500 $ in my PC. Sadly the best thing Skyrim offered was this forum (no joke). :sad:
One other thing: A game is made to be fun and interactive, to fill your spare time with joy or chalanges not to have you think for hours wich side to join because of "morality". A game character has NO morality, only the people playing them.

I think TES VI will happen alongside skyrim (same time period) but somewere in the southern regions (probably Black Marsh) and will have no conection whatsoever winth any other TES before.As for the Aldmeri Dominion thing, i think there will be an expansion on TES V, propably SI (Summerset Isle)

Before I could even sheath my weapons, a guard walks over to me, looks me in the eye and says, " I could have taken out the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary myself, but I was sick that day".
So what? He could have!
beeing sick...yes, taken ot The Dark Brotherhood...no.And stop picking on the guards for anything...you might excite the little brainwashed retards. :wacko:

Alduin is an aspect of Akatosh, specifically the part of Akatosh that represents the end of time.
http://www.imperial-library.info/content/seven-fights-aldudagga
"“You will eat nothing here, aspect Ald,” said the Aka-Tusk, sensing trouble. “Do not forget that it was Heaven itself that shed you from me.”"
Also
Akatosh = Lorkhan
Lorkhan = Sithis
Talos = Lorkhan
No really, they are the same being.
Nice site(seen other posts also), only regarding that everyone=everybody=anything makes TES lore pointless.Also beeing "an aspect of" or "regarded as one" dosen't mean "they ARE the same".If this keeps up it will end up that all the world was created by God (wich is everyone)...probably in 6 days...out of nothing (wich is everything)

Alduin self-proclaimed First-Born of Akatosh, and acording to Paarthurnax he was once considered the greatest of Akatosh's creations, but he grew proud and chose to forsake his proper role as World-Eater in favor of conquering Mundus for himself and his fellow dragons.So for the book to be plausible you have to ignore the TES lore AND your conversation with Paarthurnax who actually knows Alduin and trust in a priest who says:
"A rumor passed around the Wayrest market square can change so dramatically in the course of a few simple hours, that by the end of the day, one might believe half the city's residents were involved in any number of scandalous activities. How then is an educated, enlightened person possibly supposed to believe a legend that has been passed down, by word of mouth only, for hundreds, or even thousands of years?"
Althou he spoked to nord chieftans who were saying that Alduin is NOT Akatosh, base on THAT alone -the rumor thing- (he says about ancient text in wich Alduin's and Auri-El's names both appear in -wich texts?, elven or nord? where are the texts?, do they actualy say that they are the same deity or was it his deduction again?) he deducts that Alduin is in fact Akatosh.

setgs fSneakBaseValue -15 (is default... for example setting it to "-1000" will make you unnoticeble even if not in sneak mode)
setgs fJumpHeightMin 500 (it's the value i've tried, jumped about 10 times higher -try different values for variety-).be aware that is a jumpheight limit so setting it at lets say 5000 will make your char stuck somewere in air.(moving will make him fall back)
will get back if i find a walkrun multiplier (fallout3 and new vegas code doesn't work)
-
If the guild's leader wich you are part of steals an important item from a daedric god leading the guild going downhill, i don't see any reasonable action other than impaleing him and make an example for future leaders.(exception beeing The Gray Fox because nobody realy knows if he stole The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, it's just a presumption)
-
tons of them if you are lvl 60+ and have finished "No Stone Unturned: Restore the Crown of Barenziah"

I didn't kill Cicero and for a good reason...him and Babette are the only 2 members of the DB worth living. Personaly I would have kill Astrid myself if i could without renouncing the DB. And besides...if you summon the Spectral Assassin before going after Cicero, he will tell you that Sithis dosen't want him dead yet :D. (If someone in the DB desereves to die it's Astrid)
PS: Don't you all hate that Festus died? -in my opinion he was one of the best NPC's in the game :(-
-
I've saved his ancestor's hide in Chorrol so I own him :devil: !!! (Back then Motierre gave Sithis his mother's soul...just needed a younger soul to compensate for the age deficiency)
-
Probably because in Summerset Isle there is an endless amount of respawning Thalmor. :)
-
Having Paarthurnax and a bunch of dragons for friends OR a senile old man and a stupid blade that knows only how to hide...not really a decision.(so what if he's evil, so am i)
-
Liked the Thieves Guild Questline.(althou a bit on the genocide side)
Companions questline was to short. ("I don't wanna be a werewolf any more", 2 dungeons,...bam!dead! and you're boss)
Dark Brotherhood...i've realy hated the fact that nobody exept Festus realy obeyed/respected The Night Mother (i mean for peaks sake that lizard was a Shadowscale, by definition they got brainwashed as "children?" to obey Sithis, The Dark Mother, The Black Hand and The Five Tenents -insted he's collecting tax money for asaulting DB members and almost got himself killed by a jester for trying to save that god for nothing Astrid...just pathetic-). I really liked Babette but unfortunately besides the fact that she's 300 and brewing i know nothing of her.
The College of Winterhold...i wanted to kill that Thalmor scum first time i've entered there.(could have finished the whole questline in 10 seconds :D)
The Bards College...would have erased them from Skyrim if not for Geraud Gemane (Speech training master -who could easly persuade the jarl to hold the burning, wich makes everyone else usless-).

In a long run Heavy Armor is the best choice.
Ex: You can enchant the boots with Muffle or having the Silence perk in Sneak and still have the same Sneak efficiency, you don't take only half fall damage, after conditioning it's weightless (20 levels is not THAT much).
Also, one efficient way of leveling up Heavy Armor is by fighting giants. From a starting level of 15, by training against a giant you can reach a level of over 50+ within 5 mins of getting bludgeoned, provided you don't die.;)

skyrim getting boring
