  1. I am still unable to use an enb preset on my current machine. I've followed many instructions carefully and watched instructional videos on my enb of choice. At first I was using realvision autoinstaller for NMM and everything installed and configured, as far as I can tell, properly. I played for a while and I realized there was no graphical changes. Currently I've attempted enbs with newest binaries .279. I've spent a lot of time trying to get the enb to work. So the wrapper version (d3d9.dll) CTDs before Bethesda logo. Injector version loads fine, but I don't see enb message on main menu and the enb is still not active. My machine is laptop i74-710mq 2.5 g 8 core. 8 gigs ram, 4 gig GTX 860 m, Wndows 8.1. I feel like I have tried many solutions, INI- wise and compatibility options, run as admin, etc. I have posted here as a last resort to figure out why I can't get this rather simple process working right. There is something else I don't know about at issue, but I don't know what else to try to get it to work. I'm currently attempting to run with Grim and Somber, and there are very clear instructions that have not worked for me. I know there are a lot of variables and everybody has different requirements, it is just there is nothing obvious that is wrong with my install and config.
  2. The same for my rogue, i just stepped on every single trap during the whole game xD Is rendering Device Mastery and the Cunning attribute useless supposed to be an attempt to make the new content more challenging? Or maybe rogues are just too good.
  3. Anyone notice that no traps are detectable. My 35 level rogue with 4th level Device Mastery and high cunning was unable to detect a single trap in my playthrough, resulting in his second injury in 100 hours of gametime. I'll have to see if this is so in version 1.1.
  4. Just looking for opinions on whether the old Baldur's Gate games are worth checking out for a hardcore Dragon Age fan. I've only heard good things about them, but they are quite old. Are they outdated and worthless compared to DA?
  5. Started using Combat Tweaks and I noticed an improvement on the bleeding damage, although it is still rare that it is anything over 1 point. I know enemy flurry attacks for dual weapon experts cause bleeding damage in the twenties on me, but my flurry attack never do more then ones. It's aggravating and i want to know why high- damage bleeding affect are happening for enemies but not for the pc. Pc cunning is high, exploit weakness, lacerate, dual weapon mastery, etc. Backstab -DoT for 1, 1, 1, 1,1 :( Enemy dual weapon expert flurries me for DoT 22, 25, 24, 22, 21 :( Wonder if anybody else noticed this. PC kills enemies fast anyway, but when fighting multiple enemies, if my DoT was working as the talents' say they should, i would be able to stab an enemy a few times and move on to the next one while the bleeding finished the former.
  6. First I want to say this isn't meant to be a bunch of complaining, I'm just wondering. My rogue assassins achieve lots of high-damage backstabs but there is never a Lacerate damage-over-time effect, just the wimpy Dual Weapon Expert bonus, and i've experimented in lots of different scenarios with and without the Dual Weapon Expert talent. I use lots of mods currently, but i've noticed that Lacerate does no additional damage even with no mods installed. I've searched all over for a possible answer and will continue searching, but if anyone has noticed this or has a reason...If I'm the only person the Lacerate talent doesn't work for, I'm going to be sad.
