  1. Im mostly in agreement with what was said. I liked the story and how the player really gets tossed into a position of politcal duties as well as beat-em-up. The quests were plentyful considering the small amount of locations. I found the battles were easy-moderate, but also said above I use a roll-over character and am pretty familur to his/her abilities. Having said that, and that being my nice section  ..... Ohgren..?? Really?? Come on Bio, a log that talked would be more useful then that dumb monkey. Thank the maker for the respec books otherwise Oggy would be less then zero use to me. When DAA first became available I really had my hopes up that Liliana and Zev would make an appearence. Those 2 with Nathaniel and Anders would have made some funny story swapping times, plus those 2 would be more likely to make an appearnce in other games due to there backgrounds. It also would make romances an option again. Whats up with that?? Kill everything that walks and in this game talks, and no nookie at the end of a hard days fight? The GW's are not monks...and the ending...without sounding un-thankful for the hard work bioware does to put out quality games, all Ill say about the ending is "They cant all be winners"
  2. At the time of the deed morrigan said she wants a child she can raise how she chooses. She goes on to say the spirit of an old god should be preserved. Morrigan has never made it a secret that she's interested in power. And with Flemeth dead and Morrigans found knowlege of how she stayed alive that child would be a might nice new host
  3. I liked the Chantry in its game purposes, with what was happening they certainly had a part to play. In a real life perspective of the chantry, like grannywils said above its very black and white and the game was geared towards a players moral decisions, and as we all know ones moral decisions are never black and white, So I think they did a god job with it being what it is.
  4. I think Morrigan is more then just a plot character, she's a focus on the series. With her ending they left the door open for only a few options regarding her, but those options would make for great sequels. As for her having a constant weed across her bumm, I as a woman find her refreshing. She's strong, doesnt take lip from men (which in those times a woman would probably be killed if she sneezed in a mans direction the wrong way) and she's very goal orientated. She's a great counter to say Liliana who is a girly girl and more of a follower. I also like how you have to work for her rewards. If you want to tag Morrigan aside from the end, you gotta put in some play time to get it, I love Liliana but the hardest thing you gotta do to get her in the sac is liscen to her 2 hour rants, be a goodie goodie and hand her a few flowers :whistling: Morrigan is a more dynamic player and IMO a huge part of the overall game.
  5. I also enjoyed the human noble sequence with the spirit. Leaving your mother and father to certain death while you escape is an epic start to a great revenge story. Even though (depending how you awnser his questions) he says you dont dwell on past mistakes, deep down you know your gonna stick a blade in Howe
  6. I dont even want to count how many times ive played through the game and I just recently found that note starting the quest    I always just figured it was some jerk named jammer bieng a punk
  7. I find Wynn can be useful in the very early stages, pending when you get her and like said above what kind of player your gonna be. Aside from buffs I find her as useful as a bull in a china closet.
  8. Id like to see companions in future games play a bigger role in the players decision making. For example Alistar doesnt like Morrigan, when the player accepts Morrigans personal quest to kill Flemeth, Alistar could catch you still in camp and say something like " do you have bubbles in your think tank? Im not going to the swamp to kill an old woman cause the crazy anti-social in the corner says too" LOL. Then Morrigan would come over, those 2 would trade words, and you have to find a commen ground between them, and if you cant, then Alistar doesnt go with you to that location to fight. I think that would be very entertaining and also very realistic. Theres a few of those little tiffs in game but nothing game changing. In DAO alone alot of content could be added in regard to stuff like that. Also in regards to the romances and or future games with romances Id like to see more situations/consequences come with that. Say the player returns to camp alot, does the deed with the loved one everytime then one of those times he (player) goes to liliana asks to go to bed and she says " im pregnent" . Now for the sake of the child she wants to leave the group, or you could talk her into staying but she takes a huge decrease in dexterity or something. It could happen, one sleeps with Morrigan once and she's pregnent :whistling: Thats just a few down the road improvments id like to see. As for story, well, Id like to go back on my word and have a looksee for Morrigan. Preferably in Orlais since we hear of it often enough in DAO. Im a woman and I want pretty feet too  Id like to have a run-in with Zev again. Find him roaming around, or even captured from the job somewere, you rescue him and he returns to your party again, or not  Wynn, well she's probably dead like said above, but maybe find an apprentice of hers that owes some personal vow to her something. Liliana, what can i say, she's just too cute to leave out  Id acually like to find her in being a Bard again and doing "dirty work". Sten, Nah. I didnt like his roll in DAO and unless the story went to war with his people, i see no need for him making an appearnece. Oggy, I guess...IMO he's just a short Sten, not alot of personal story for him to work from, unless they give you the option to buy a bar or something, I guess he could be a bouncer  I like what they did in DAA with the joining of more wardens, I would definatly like to see more of that, to me that makes the GW plot more dynamic to have all your party members GW's. Well thats my rant/wish list
  9. Hello room, long time player (without mods) first time writer. Here's my question for the guru's: When is a good time to activate mods after installing them? Yesturday I decided to enhance my game a bit and check out some of the content modders have put ot there (the stuff ive acually gotten to work is great, so good job modders and thank you) but only some work, and some dont. Going back and looking at the descriptions on the ones that dont isnt anwsering me cause ive only been grabbing the ones that are highly endorsed and there install directions are good (if they are there) and if they require other mods to work i get the requirments, those instructions are followed on my end. i also see comments that say the same thing, "it doesnt work". So I dabbed a bit, started a new character, with the mods installed, some worked some didnt, reading on some people say they dont work till after you reach the camp for the first time, Would it be safe to say that activating these mods after you reach the camp is the best bet for a high success rate of them all working? Or am I having a weekend version of the case of the mondays? Thank you for any adive or comments. P.S. Is the Save, exit, uncheck the mods, force load, save, check the mods, load procedure the only one? And if so where (in gameplay) do you do that to get the mods to work? Ive done it in camp a number of times, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Is there something else im not doing? Thanks again.
