I guess a modding kit wasn't set high on their priority list. Especially since the release of the console versions. It's better to put resources over to stabilise it across platforms and add new features for everyone as us modders kind of a minority group. But as you mentioned from the tweet, if it's finally on their to-do list it must be something they're working on and should be out soon as BG3 is just begging to be modded as a long time D&D player, it's got so many possibilities left untapped!

Thank you everyone for your idea's, after I left it for a while I came up with a name (surprisingly more forum appropriate than some of the names for some of my other weapons ) Not perfect but it will certainly do for now!
The Boom Party Trifecta
the other name I was thinking was;
Hat Trick
OK I thought quad was 4 and trifecta and hat trick is both 3....am I wrong? Confused? Smoking...no wait...?
No I was completely wrong, back the the drawing board lol

Been playing a lot of Fallout 4 recently, and within my 125hrs of play time so far according to Steam I have gathered and modified a lot of weapons. Well I just decided seeing I've managed to gather a lot of missiles to pimp out a missile launcher with quad barrels and a targeting computer but I can't for the life of me think of a funny make for it, since I've named all my other weapons ridiculously.
I was hoping you fine people could throw me some funny ideas!Cheers!

No, I don't want to do anything that could potentially get me in trouble with legal enforcers, or get me banned from the Nexus forums, especially when both copy's of Fallout 3 GOTY are physical legitimate retail games. DRM is there for a reason, however much I dislike it in some circumstances, I can understand the basis for it's existence.
But I digress, I still believe this issue to be based around the UAC as Fallout 3 isn't 100% compatible nor supported for Windows 7.
-
I would love to get that far to be honest so I could just take all the data off the disk, but like I said earlier it's not even appearing in my drive.
-
Thanks for the reply, but again even with UAC off it doesn't even prompt nor come up in my D: drive in both standard or safe mode with networking.
-
Thanks for the fast response, but unfortunately it's still not working, despite Fallout 3 being saved in a different location, and being in safe mode with networking, it's not even coming up as there being an existing disk in my drive when inserting the DLC disk, however the first one is working perfectly fine.
-
Hey guys, I'm having an issue which to be honest if putting me into a fit nerd raging.
Basically, I have not just 1 copy, but 2 of Fallout 3 GOTY on GFWL, but the 2nd disk is being non-responsive, I put the first disk in and no problem what-so-ever. But as soon as I put the 2nd in my disk drive nothing happened, it doesn't even show that it's come up on "My Computer" it thinks there's nothing in there. The disk conditions are absolutely fine and there no damage to either of the disks.
The Methods I've tried to fix this issue are waiting for up to 30 mins to see if it would pop into action as it's been suggested in various forums, and I've also booted my computer into "Safe Mode" and seen if it would solve the issue. Also I've tried installing the first disk, updating the game then tried installing the 2nd disk, but none of these have worked. I'm all out of ideas, and I'm trying to avoid having to buy Fallout 3 for a 3rd time on Steam just so I can play the game.
Anyone got any smart idea's or know of any fixes to resolve the issue? -
-
The issue has been resolved, you are free to close/remove this thread if you wish.
-
i do some of the quest line then move on to DLC then continue with the main quest or at least a ton of side quests.

Looks like you have an old mod version that hasn't been updated since the FormID's changed.
Update the one that contains 0017B7BB
Sorry mate, you must of replied while I was re-editing the question, I've posted up my new load order and the problem now seems to be gone. However I will check to see if all my mods are up-to-date
-
Edit: sorry about the the title fail, the first problem which was initally due to a FNVEdit error is now fixed, however I believe I'm still having a load order problem, that problem being people are firing giant exclamation points at me, it was funny at first being shot at with punctuation, but now it's kinda annoying. Here's my load order.

yeah, it sounded like your computer had either some major viruses or malware using up memory, sorry to hear you had to do a complete laptop install again.
-
Anyone else having the same problem?
Start turning mods off and, testing! You didn't give a load order, no one knows what mods you have installed. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/whistling.gif
You'll find the culprit eventually but, I don't think anyone could possibly help with the information you've given.
I'm afraid, your just going to have to test for yourself, there are many dirty mods out there. The issue may not show up for everyone because they don't share the same load order, mod lists as you.
I think this is something you'll need to figure out for yourself.
sorry I can't be more helpful.
Good luck,
chuck
isn't that from AWOW - A World of Wacky

here you go, this is pretty much what your load list should look like.
falloutNV.esm
Project Nevada - Core.esm
Project Nevada - Equipment.esm
Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp
Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp
Monster Mod Wasteland Edition.esp
AWorldOfPain(preview).esm
NewVegasBounties.esp
PerkEveryLevel.esp
More Perks.esm
More Traits.esm
More Perks Update.esp
More Traits Update.esp
stealth_power_armor.esp
m24.esp
CNR_beta.esp
Vurt's WFO.esp
Nevada Skies.esp
Also, download a program called FNVEdit when it boots up make sure all the mods are ticked and click ok, and it will scroll through all your files and then on the right side of the UI until "finished" appears at the bottom right, there will now be a list of your mods on the left side of FNVEdit, left click to bring up the drop down menu and click "Create Merged Patch" name it patch or whatever you want, and then click ok.
Once it's done there should be finished at the bottom bar again, close FNVEdit and it will ask if you want to save, click yes. Now close down FOMM and reopen it and now at the bottom of your mods list on FOMM there should be a new .esp called patch or whatever you called it. make sure that's ticked and always remains right at the bottom of your list. What this does is make sure none of your mods are conflicting, it will solve a lot of CTD (crash to desktop) it will also tell you if your load order is incorrect or your missing important files.

May I request your system specifications? It sounds to me like something is eating up your ram, either that or a program your using has a major memory leak. Also do a virus and malware check on your laptop, a good place to start would be Malwarebytes as it's great program to sniff out any bugs that may be hiding on your computer.
you may request them, yes.

Ill give malwarebytes a try, if you come to any other conclusion do let me know :3
After seeing your spec's I see no reason why fallout shouldn't run on your system, so I think something may be leaking your memory, or worse case scenario your ram itself may be having some problems. Try malwarebytes, there is a free version that you can use and get back to me with the results.
Im now going to try it, Ill let you know how it goes :3 thanks for the help
no problem

A good start is to download BOSS, you run the .exe and install external program on your computer. All you need to do from there is load up BOSS and it will give you a list of all the mods your running for the game and it will tell you what order they should be in. If you need any more help just say and I can give you a more in-depth description of how to order mods for the best game experience.

Lemme have a look at your load list, there may be something there that could lead to such a problem

I don't there so much "stealing" our modders, but I'm guessing a large quantity are multi-tasking on both games. Either way the FNV nodding community won't disappear completely, just slow down when it comes to releases of new content and updates.

If you have a file named d3d9.dll in your main Fallout directory, delete it and don't install another one. These modified DLLs do not work with setups that have multiple selectable GPUs (laptop, I presume) and will always use the integrated chip.
If you're running the game from the launcher, you're not running NVSE at all. Make sure you're running nvse_loader.exe to start the game instead.
I was using a custom launch via NMM which uses the NVSE4gb.exe, even when I was using NMM it would boot up to the launcher which I found a bit confusing. Deleting the d3d9.dll however worked and I can happily continue playing! You're an absolute star, I hope you know that, accept my kudos!
