  1. I can attest i am having this same issue, i am downloading SE Mods on an SE profile, i have double and triple checked this, it is activated. At this point i'm thinking some sort of cache error in vortex
  2. https://www.reddit.com/r/SonsOfTheForest/comments/11b3sky/sons_of_the_forest_constant_attacks_by_cannibals/ Check out this thread for what i mean ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I myself am on day 3 and its literal NONSTOP attacks every 30 seconds to 2 minutes, this is clearly unintended and i would love to see a community fix until the devs get around to it. I can't get anything done right now because of this
  3. I just came back to the game after a while, and was bummed to learn that i could no longer complete epistrophy, i had been levelling to be able to do it and now it's just gone. i hear quite a few quests are like this, for those of us who want a more "classic" rpg experience, and don't want to juggle so many quests, could anyone work on a mod that disables these quest ending flags from coming up after a period of time?
  4. So in short im trying to clear my farm, i noticed that a mega bomb destroys trees, however it takes about 4 bombs and merely damages them, this means that it does have a damage value though, im assuming there is one for the trees, one for rock, and one for the player, grass not included. does anyone know of a way i can change this value?
  5. Sorry for the bump, meh, it's three months in, not too long ago. Ever played happy wheels? If you aren't holdign onto your vehicle anything your hand touches when you press space is automatically grabbed, and you are in ragdoll mode. Then, using the arrow keys, your body contracts and expands accordingly. This could be put into skyrim.... Well minus the limb removal, but you get my point.
  6. I was flowing down a river in skyrim, (yes i do this often) And one thing kept bugging the hell out of me, the skyrims devs wanted to streamline development so they made the currents in rivers all pull towards one universal direction is a huge body of water. With this being set, if you tried to float down a river, instead of being pulled the direction that the water is moving, you get pulled to the side most of the time. Another thing that annoyed me, you see these violent, waterfall ridden, ripforce currents and you can walk through them like you're moses parting the red sea. I call for a mod that not only fixes the currents, but makes it dangerous to go in some of the stronger ones. This would make hardcore roleplayer avoid trying to nab a shortcut through the river and attempt to locate a bridge instead. If anyone feels like this is a good idea, contact me, i may not be too great of a modder, but i can keep from stumbling around, i'll help out with whatever you need. Meshmaking, and to a lesser extent, scripting or otherwise.
  7. If i had the game i would be able to test it and help you out. But you should really download the construction kit, making houses is quite possibly the easiest thing to do. You don't even have to have a lick of skill or modding knowledge, if you can figure out how to put a mod into your game you can make a house very easily. I'm not meaning to be mean by saying that but the construction kit is set up in a way that you can just pull a house outside out of a bin and slap it onto any place on the map. Again i would help you out but i don;t have the game for pc yet and the construction kit doesen't come out till Jan 2012. Till then though, learning how to make a house in oblivion's kit will most likely be exactly the same and will only take an hour or so. Not even.
  8. I was watching an old gta iv trailer when i saw Niko grab and hang onto a helicopter. Now when i first saw this i thought there would be a grabbing feature in game, but i was pretty disappointed there wasn't. Hence the idea of this. Now what i'm thinking is that the players arms can't be hanging down to their sides or else they would just grab themselves, and i think it would be pretty complicated to make a system where every object in the game has a grab-able point. A simple system might just be press a button to place the players arms rigidly outstretched in front of them, and whatever the hands touch anchors them to that point and puts the player in ragdoll mode. Tapping the same button that initiates grab mode will stop it and release the player. Maybe this could be finished off by a get up animation, and some hit damage could be put in if the object is moving and jostles the player around. Voila. Now you can save yourself from a steep fall or do a epic cliff hanging scene. If you ever wanted to stalk that horse you stole back to wherever it was going but didn't want to slowly follow it there, now you can just grab on, walk away from the screen and pray a dragon doesn't mess up your once chance at nourishing your weird obsession with horses. Anyway, tell me what you think if the idea interests you. ~Thanks
