  1. Sadly, I have the correct version. I'm going to verify game content and try again, but I definitely double checked to see if there was a section in DefaultGame.ini (there wasn't) and I checked that Steam was updating regularly. =( Also I checked for curly brackets, and I wasn't using them. Which makes sense, since copy/pasting the same line to EU worked fine. Weird. Verifying game content (even though I did that two days ago to fix a problem with cutscene issue) and redoing my changes worked fine. PROBLEM SOLVED!
  2. Weirdly I can't seem to get this to work anymore. I got it to work some time ago on my last game, but since then I've verified game files and had to redo my changes... and it's broken. I've added at the end of my DefaultInput.ini [Engine.PlayerInput].Bindings=(Name="F10",Command="GiveResource Money 1000") since loading Strategy.txt wasn't working, and it still didn't work. I tried a Non-Function-Key keybind (Q) and it didn't work either. I AM editing the correct DefaultInput.ini (Steam\SteamApps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\XComGame) and the changes are propagating to my MyGames folder. I'm incredibly confused. Here's an EXTRA bit of weirdness. I booted EU for the first time in a while after modding the EU files as well to see if I could get it to work in EU, and it works fine there. It's just EW where it appears to refuse to work. I copy/pasted the exact same line to be meticulous about my edits, so it's something changed in EW.
  3. So, I'm playing New Vegas again because I missed Fallout, and I've played Fallout 1 and 2 more times than I can count... so I figured I'd reboot New Vegas instead this time around. Obviously, I'm playing something that supports crazy modding, so I'm going to do a lot of that. However, there is one thing that New Vegas failed to do that I'm wondering if any mod out there has fixed... Is there a mod to make companions use modded weapons? I know RoF and damage mods appear to be applied damage-wise to the weapons, but my guys are still holding stock weapon models every time I hand them a gun. Nor do they ever make use of silencers. It's incredibly annoying. Is there a mod that fixes this? Especially one compatible with WME? Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!
  4. A town similar to New Reno from Fallout 2. More organized crime, prostitution, gambling, and depravity! Ooo... and a boxing ring. Maybe targeted VATS shots from melee as well. I find it ridiculous that you can't aim a punch... renders unarmed combat sort of silly. A better real-time recoil/automatic fire model tied to skill level would be nice too. .223 Pistol needs to make a comeback. Revamp of the repair system (it's sort of moronic)... and... weapon modification. It'd be nice to be able to attach scopes to things.
