do u have blender "its free". i dont know if or when i am going to be at my desktop "using a laptop atm". but if you get it & collada plugin, u can download these, export them with blender to nif & the textures should be easy.

 

i don't have the internet allowance to get blender. if you get me these items i can work on them for you, "collision, textures, ect" but they need to be nif format or obj but prefer nif as nifskope imports obj's as single objects so the doors n whatnot wouldn't work.

 

ps: this is just a stopgap as i might get my models but duno when!.

This mod sounds great! I really hope you get a few people to mod with you, big projects like these need manpower. Otherwise it'll be a few years until we see a good finished release, which I can patiently wait for of course. Good luck!

i like the idea (i've been, as a european, wondering lots anyway why there's no clue about whatever happened to europe anywhere in the game (or maybe it just got away from my attention, but don't really think so)).

still, why does it always have to be london (thinking of early gta-days here), i'd really prefer, like paris, amsterdam, vienna, istanbul, whatever, europe is big, so why always that weird island :-)

i'm not trying to change your mind here though, because i know you won't. :-)

I chose London as it's such a cliché, in a good way though. Notable landmarks and history have to play big part in my opinion, and that is something London has plenty of.

In TV and Movies it's usually because Hollywood usually pitches at the average american, and the average american always associates England with Europe because the culture is the closest to the States. If you want to see media representations of the other places in Europe, buy a European movie =]

 

Love the idea of the mod. Maybe when it's a little closer to being complete I could contribute something as I do find the idea of a ruined westminster or buckingham palace intruiging. Looking forwards to screenshots and the like. :thumbsup:

Heyas! I really hate to say it but chances are, that will remain as a staff only function.

I tried a door as well but had no luck. I'm reinstalling my operating system because of some other problems so once New Vegas is back on it should be fine, I never had this problem before. I'll redo the worldspace and let you know how it goes.

I've created a new world space. I've created the height mapping for it and everything. It seems perfect in the GECK, but when I try to travel there in-game via console commands It won't load, it just comes to the loading screen and well.. loads.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Perhaps it could be a feature to be implemented for premium members? It would be nice to have control of your threads as well as your file comments, to a degree of course; deleting comments of people who just object your opinion or whatever would be biased and could result in you losing the right to control your thread as well.

I was just wondering if it were possible for someone to make a health indicator in the style of the latest Call of Duty games.

Basically, I find the health bar boring and annoying. Blood splatters over the screen would be much more interesting.

As I browse through the nexus data base I regularly stumble upon pictures and mods containing very revealing clothing and armor, having this on my screen would not look good if my parents or brother were to come in. My suggestion is to make a "Strict", "Moderate" and "Turn Off" filter options. Strict would hide nudity and reavling pictures and mods. Moderate would hide just nudity. Turning it off would give you access to all of them.

 

My next suggestion is to catagorise armor mods depending on their genders. Male, Female, and Unisex. It's kinda' annoying having to look for a decent armor mod when the majority of them are female, when I'm looking for male armor.

I've removed the adjustments to that exterior cell completely, with NV Edit. I'm restarting that cell again and if the problem arises again (Probably shouldn't if I do this carefully) I'll resort to that thread link you posted.

The copy of Oblivion (GOTY Edition) wasn't a steam version, or had a code or anything on it. So, using steam seems to be out of the question.

 

Also, I don't think Bethesda will do repairs for discs anymore, or refund the disc. I'll try repairing the disc myself, if that fails I'll have to buy it again. Luckily, CD2 is fine, so I won't have to buy another GOTY edition.

I'm having a problem with the Landscape editing tool. It won't let me apply any new ground textures to the land in a few cells I've been editing. I try to apply a texture but nothing happens. And at the corner of the cell it doesn't blend into the next one (picture should explain it clearer).

[I cracked Oblivion!]

Yes, the title misleading but I've cracked it, literally. My disc is cracked :(

 

I have the game installed but I can't play it as it requires the disc. My computer won't read it.

 

I don't want to fork out another £15-20 (right now, anyway). So, is there any ways I can play Oblivion without the need of the disc, legally?

 

(No CD cracks are out of the question as they're illegal, and will get me banned.)
