    The new layout is a lot less complex and more appealing but I preferred the previous one as we were used to it. I'm sure that in time we will grow to be friendly with this new look.

    No need for such an attitude. Your request is simple enough, should a modder pick it up. Don't treat it like you absolutely EXPECT it to happen.

     

    Also, no more bumping please. It acheives nothing but annoyance to others.

    Ok, sorry. It's just i've wanted something like this for so long and even tried it myself but failed. I guess i'll start developing my skills myself and try it again.

    You come here and request people to do something for you, but in the same sentence you threaten them. Even if your in the right that is a very uncouth thing too do. You need to be a bit more humbled when you request because if you come with an attitude, you leave with a handful of nada.

    I understand what you're saying but part of what I was saying was aimed at the trolls who contribute nothing to the site and just cause grief. Feedback of my idea (and who would like to take on the task) would be greatly appreciated as long as the the thread stays on topic. I only really added that part because most request threads for other games such as RuneScape, World of Warcraft and such, turn into debates about which game is best.

    Hi,

     

    This is my first ever request and it's kind of big. Basically I would like the Bandos armor for Oblivion. Bandos armor is armor from the MMORPG RuneScape. Now I know that there have been RuneScape suggestions on the forums before and it always ends in "RuneScape sucks!!!" so please, don't go off topic onto what games are best or you will be reported for trolling/spam.

     

    There is a picture of it HERE. I would much prefer the male version if anyone would like to take on this task. Kudos will be rewarded.

    Hi,

     

    I'm trying to make MW2 perks for Fallout 3 but how would I go about making the sleight of hand (and pro) perk? Is there anyway I can increase the speed of all reload animations without having to make new animations or edit each weapon individualy?

    Transparent sig

    Hi,

     

    I've just made my sig on PS-CS4. It has a transparent background. I've saved it as .jpg but when I put it into my signature it has a white background, what can I do to fix this? Am I saving it as the wrong file type?

    Blender import .nif error

    I'm having a slight problem with Blender.

     

    Whenever I try to import an nif file it says "error, check console", I check it out and all it says is this:

     

    Compiled with Python version 2.5.2.

    Checking for installed Python... got it!

    Traceback <most recent call last>:

    File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts\nif_import.

    ImportError: No module named nif_common

     

    How do I fix this? I think it's a problem with my nif scripts because when I was installing the script this message popped up:

     

    Error opening file for writing:

     

    C:\Program Files\Blender

    Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts\bpymodules\nif_common.py

     

    Click Abort to stop the installation,

    Retry to try again, or

    Ignore to skip this file.

     

    Please help,

     

    Note: I'm on windows 7 32 bit. Python and pyffi is installed.

    I am creating a custom world space. I have created my heightmap, and when I go to test it out in game I can't see past a few cells, it looks like I'm just standing in a big square surrounded in white. Do I need to manualy generate distant land? I tried generating LOD, but it only took a few seconds to finish, does this mean it isn't generating properly? It is a very large worldspace, larger than the vanila one. So I would have thought LOD would take longer to generate.

     

    Ps. I haven't tested it out now that I generated LOD.

    This might not be much help but have you tried adding weather/climates that have fog in them?

     

    I made a desert worldspace and I had the same problem but once I added climates it seemed to fix the problem.

    Alright, So I'm a major elder scrolls fan and I have been waiting and waiting for ANY news at all of a fith installment to the elder scrolls series, does anybody know anything at all of a fith game in the series? Please, no stupid april fool prank pages...

    I'm having an issue when I try to download the Ancient Towers mod from TESNexus. Whenever I click the link to download it, i get an error saying I need to be logged in. So i login, and when it brings me back to the download page, it gives me the same error. I don't understand because I've downloaded plenty of otehr mods from there. Thanks in advance for the help

     

    EDIT: nevermind, fixed the problem by using Firefox instead of IE

     

    Just incase you want to use IE in the future i'd recommend configuring your network settings again, deleting all your history and updating it. I had the same problem for quite a while, deleting my history seemed to fix the problem for me.

    Hi,

     

    I was wondering if anyone knows what mods the armor, hat and gun are from, in this photo.

    I think the gun is a UMP45 and the armor is some sort of riot control gear. I've tried searching for these but had no luck.

    Hi,

     

    I've just installed a clean, fresh copy of fallout 3. I know from my modding of oblivion that the .ini file can greatly change playing experience (performance to general gameplay) so I was wondering, any changes I should make to my fallout.ini? I've never changed it before, but I hope theres some goodies you can get from tweaking it.

    I was wondering if there is an easier way of changing the colors, fonts...etc of the information of your mod on its page, (without resorting to googling html codes). Also, why doesn't work on your mod info page, bug? :/

    Why do people sometimes request to be banned?

    Why would someone voluntarily ask to be banned? :blink:

     

    Is there some overarching theme in voluntary bann requests?

     

    Sorry for the weird question but it has puzzled me for a while.

     

    HI,

     

    People ask to be banned for multiple reasons: Could be they're addicted to modding and need a little nudge to move away from it, maybe they've made a new account or they're just leaving the site. When moderators ban an account they almost alwaysgive a reason. "self request" is pretty much self-explanetory and the reason could be some that I spoke about.
