I'd like help trouble shooting Fallout New Vegas. Its crashing when I attempt to launch it from NVSE, 4gblaucher, and Fakefullscreen. Load Order appears to be fine all master files are loaded before relevant mods, FNVEdit does not crash. I've edited my Ini with busethreadedai=1 and iNumHWThreads=2. I can't Place whats making me crash. For clarification the game does not open it crashes before there is a game window when trying to launch from an exe. Additional Information. Game is in C:\Users\Kiesa\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas I have Ultimate edition so every Dlc and Preorder. I'm Using Mod Organizer to mod my game. I have NVSE latest version. I have BOSS and NVEdit. These are the problem details that appear in a pop up when I attempt to launch the exe. This is My BOSS Log This is my enbseries.ini I'm fairly competent at modding at least mid to high tier Journeyman by Oblivion Ranking. I think I can get relevant information should you ask for it, I myself have no idea whats causing it. Suggestions welcomed.

I checked threw the over haul of the winter forge and didn't see the option to (could have missed it vaguely recall some thing to that affect being possible years ago) than disabled it as i don't like the npc sitting around camp. but i'l check out that other you mentiond iv got over 50 mods installed with no issues and adding more every day fairly confident i can avoid the pitfalls.

I'd like to be able to runes on shields, armor or weapon either would be preferable to none. I've looked around and haven't found a mod that does this but if there is one feel free to let me know.

I've been checking around for tattoo mods while there are many good tattoos none of them are applicable to the dwarf commoner of lore. The "s" on the left side of there face (when viewed from character creator) is the casteless symbol the other tattoos all incorporate it and there additions are more or less for flavor.

i use Improved atmosphere, FCR, combat tweaks, and a large host of other mods what kinda game condition are you looking for this to be tested in? i'm willing to test "some" but not looking for it to take over my gaming. Sounds like you have experience modding so i imagine i can uninstall and reinstall it with out comprising my game.

A mod in the top thats in the top 100 i believe Phoenix Armory has a custom bow quiver, was hoping that alternative quivers could be made for the crossbow that function similarly. I know theres not allot of love for the crossbow but it fits the theme of some characters better than a bow plus with the mods available ranged and crossbow combat can be made a contender.That said i don't like the default quivers of dark spawn quiver or Ferelden quiver(with heraldry on it), Mod could be made with alternative heraldries or skins...preferably both to equip.

iv no experience with the g.e.c.k and id like to use Sydney's face from Fallout 3 redesigned for the companion mod the author posted some information on how to get them to play nice using the creation kit but iv had no luck getting it to work as shown/described. I've sent him a message requesting help witch he offered on the mod page but been over 7 days and its still marked as unread. Could use some help. :confused:

Hmmmm my bad. Modded skyrim before I modded fallout 3. Assumed that was the problem after a message about masterfiles from Nexus Mod Manager and when I looked up the error code it told me I was missing an update.esm so what ever the problem may be its presumably easier than getting an update.esm for a copy of the game with out one. Thanks for letting me know would have been looking for a work around for a problem that didn't exist.

I've previously modded Fallout 3 with a disk copy of the game but having seen it on steam sale I figured I'd re-buy it and give the disk to a friend but now Ive encountered a problem it does not have an update.esm and I no longer have my disk copy of the game. Thus far I've tried to verify game cache with Steam and thats yielded no results and iv uninstalled and reinstalled the game with the same results. I've thought about trying to contact Valve and inform them but that sounds tedious and I'm not sure it would yield results. I've considered copying the update.esm from the disk copy of the game but not sure if that would have repercussions. Would like some suggestions on what to do any informations or experiences regarding either of those 2 or any other suggestions.
