  1. Also, what about mod order? Mod cleaning? Mod conflicts? Do they install automatically? Would we still require tools equivalent to the Nexus tools?
  2. I totally stand behind modders being paid. I just don't see why Bethesda has to have a cut of their hard work. I do not believe for one minute that Bethesda will be helping the modders with their work. It will be just a platform for modders to sell their wares on. Bethesda will just sit back watching their account balance rise. It will be us, the end users who will suffer, as the pricing for mods will be higher than normal, because we will be paying both Bethesda and the modder in one sum. People who are okay with what Bethesda are doing are all fueling the beginning of the end of free content. History has proved that the Pre-purchasing culture is now out of control, along with microtransactions. Games are cut up and sold to us in bits. It is like this, because everyone bought into it. Back in the day, you bought a game and it included everything. Then we had modding, which set us apart from console gamers. Now, PC gamers are being reined in and we are just letting them. Everyone needs to see that Creation Club is not for our benefit, or modders......it is for them and them only.
  3. After the hundred of thousands of copies of Skyrim Bethesda have sold on all platforms including DLC over the last few years, haven't they made enough money out of an old game? Shouldn't they concentrate on a Skyrim sequel? Because modders want to extend the life of the game with mods, Bethesda are muscling in this territory to make money too. I don't believe for a minute they are going to get their devs to test and polish everything in the Creators Club and kid us all into thinking it is like official DLC. It is just a way to exploit modders and coax them the their new platform where they can use modders to create for them for peanuts and make Bethesda even more money, and at the same time, kill off Nexus. I would rather continue to donate here so the modders get 100% of the money. Everyone should boycott this. There is now way the Creators Club could survive without external modders. All modders should stay well away and starve this thing of oxygen so it dies a horrible death. As soon as we buy into this, there will be no way back and all game developers will go down this path and it will destroy the modding scene for all games.......and if Steam get wind of this, don't think that they won't do something similar on their platform. This is a wake up call to us all.
  4. Modders have started to put the latest mod versions only on Steam (behind a pay wall). If the majority of modders do this, does this mean the slow downfall of Nexus?
