I'm looking for a good texture creator and a good animator to join up and turn all of those giant staffs that spellcasters can apparently summon from their hip into something a bit more believable... Wands. The only staffs I'm looking to change are the non-unique ones, i.e. Staff of Firebolts, other unique staffs should obviously stay as staffs, i.e. Staff of Jyrick Gaulderson, or the Staff of Magnus. I'm not looking for any game mechanics to change, so this would just be a re-texture and a new animation. I'm also not looking for anything fancy, but if someone gets excited and wants to recreate all the wands from the Harry Potter Films, DnD illustrations, and whatever else, then that's fine too. I'll be monitoring this like a hawk so I should reply swiftly, thanks for reading!

  5. Tomislawus, If you're trying to offer your opinion do so in a polite manner. Your tone is usually sharp and hyper-critical. Instead of bashing what you don't know, ask Mansh00ter questions about it.
  6. Tomislawus.. He's not saying that the weapons are all EXACTLY the same, all the vanilla swing speeds and enchantability will stay the same. So you could keep using your "Neanderthal's Iron Stick of Cutting" for the whole game if you want to, but an "Elven Fast-n-Flashy-Slice-n-Dicer" is going to hurt them just as much, and be faster while doing it, plus be more receptive to enchantments. And unless it's enchanted, silver, or daedric (correct me if I missed one Mansh00ter) it will be completely or almost useless against ghosts, werewolves, and vampires. and besides.. a little rust can mean some serious health issues, especially in a medieval setting w/ fantasy attachment.
  7. That fight would depend on the first strike. Judging from what Tomislawus has said, he would strike first, if Mansh00ter was able to dodge and counter, game over Tomislawus.. if not, game over Mansh00ter. Evasion is more important than strength, I'm a small guy (132 lbs soaking wet) But I've been the victor in every fight I've been in (~6 to date, nothing fancy) because I MOVE, and I strike weak points. "f*** fair, I'm winning."

  9. I've always enjoyed the Resident Evil 4 & 5 inventory system, and have long wondered if there is any way of implementing it into a Bethesda game. Inventory sorting was an important thing, and kind of fun when you have mild OCD..

  11. Is there a way to have a reduced power fire wall being cast after casting flames for so long?
  12. Yes, when it's finished. These things take time, and i would rather sit and wait for the mod to be perfect than for it to feel rushed and empty. Patience is a virtue my friend!

Mansh00ter, If you could apply (not a modder so here is some made up jargon) "BlockState 1 for x time" for half of the length of the attack animation, every time you attack, then simply by attacking you would have that brief moment of pseudo-blocking, i.e. a parry. but still be vulnerable after the follow through. it would add another layer of timing to get that perfect strike in.
  14. Is there a way to remove armor (heavy might survive, maybe 30% chance of heavy still appearing) from their inventory after becoming a charred, smoking corpse? It makes sense that flames like that would burn up skin, leather, and hide alike.
  15. I'm pretty sure you've heard of the mod Tytanis. It added a lot of food items to the game and I was wondering, will they be made TRO compatible at some point?
