  1. If there aren't "aliens" who happen to be races from the Elder Scrolls titles, then I certainly hope some ambitious modders make it happen. A planet of Kajhit or Argonians? Planets populated by various elves? How can they not be out there in the new game? Perhaps planets that allude to the mythologies of Elder Scrolls, like a planet called Atmora, for example?
  2. I'd love to see this happen. Frankly, it should have been an option in Vanilla.
  3. One thing that I find annoying is that with all the saw mills around Skyrim not one of them allows you to cut your own sawn logs. I would very much like this to be an option.
  4. I also would like to see this happen. Another option may be showing the dossier to Tulius right after completing the Thalmor Embassy quest-line. I always disliked the Thalmor on principle (they're tyrants), so when I first saw the dossier on Ulfric, I was hoping it was going to open up a quest line to end the civil war without necessarily taking sides.
  5. I looked around and found some codes specifically for the quest. The problem is that the number of crimson nirnroot doesn't index at all, remaining at zero. In this case, even manually indexing the number using command codes fails to update the quest. The only solution I found that worked was to use the command code to skip the quest stage. Even that was buggy, though since it didn't advance to the next stage, just recorded the collection stage as complete.
  6. What are the specs on your laptop? I'm guessing that it is lacking in at least 1 required spec for running SE.
  7. I'm having a problem with the A Return to Your Roots quest not indexing the number of Crimson Nirnroot. I thought that there may be an issue with the Crimson Nirnroot Markers mod, but when I disabled the mod, the issue didn't resolve. I'm looking for any possible resolutions to the problem. I hesitate to go through yet another round of troubleshooting mods.
  8. So, Grelod is dead (I didn't kill her...no, seriously, she just died somehow), and Constance is stuck in an endless loop of fleeing. I've left, and reentered the orphanage a few times, including leaving, and running several quests on the other end of Skyrim, long enough for the cell to completely reset, but she just keeps running around in circles. I've tried casting the courage spell on her, but that didn't help either. Is there a way to reset the orphanage to pre-Grelod death without backing up to an earlier save, or a way to break Constance out of the loop?
  9. I've been using scoped bows for a while, and LOVE IT. All it's missing is compound bows with scopes. I would like to see compound bow variants for all materials starting with steel, and with sights that align with the Scoped Bows sights.
  10. So, I'm playing my typical stealth-sniper build, and took a long range shot at a bandit in motion. I ended up hitting him in the right knee, resulting in an insta-kill. LMAO
  11. Yeah... So I figured out the problem. Race Menu and Race Compatibility were out of date. While this didn't cause problems in any other situation, entering any cave, barrow, or other dungeon location would result in a CTD. Don't know why that was all that was effected is beyond me, but I'm up and running.
  12. I recently started having a problem where any time I enter a dungeon, I CTD. I have been testing to try to narrow down the cause. I don't have a problem when running vanilla. My current load is: 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp 6 6 RaceCompatibility.esm 7 7 SkyUI_SE.esp 8 8 RaceMenu.esp 9 9 XPMSE.esp 10 a RaceCompatibilityUSKPOverride.esp 11 b RaceMenuPlugin.esp 12 c CBBE.esp 13 d RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp 14 e FNIS_PCEA2.esp 15 f FNIS.esp The I have eliminated CBBE, FNIS, SKSE and USSEP as causes, as I don't CTD with those installed, but any additional mods active immediately goes back to CTDs. I have used Restore Vanilla to clear out the game and data folders, then attempted to add mods back in again, with the same result.

  15. I'm tired of seeing androgynous children in Skyrim. While RS Children is awesome, and helps, there's no real difference between the boys and girls besides hair and clothes. I'm trying my first foray into modding, and have gotten as far as creating the figure I want along with textures, and converting the mesh to a .nif. I haven't been able to figure out how to do 2 things. 1 I can't find how to change the target for the nif or dds for children in Creation Kit. The file type seems to be a different format, and I can't seem to alter that. 2 I tried to convert the source 3d mesh complete with textures, but am having problems doing so. Since this is for my own use only, I used DAZ to create the figure and textures, and converted it to 3DSmax, then to .nif. I lost the texture linking somewhere in the conversion to 3DS, and can't figure out how to remap them.
  16. Can some one create inverse animations so that characters can actually be left-handed? It would require bow, two-handed, and shields, as well as reversing the button that triggers blocking for shields when used in the right hand. This would also require inverting the bow, quiver, and two-handed sheath positions. I understand the concepts, but have no skills in animation or modding.

  19. It was updated for .14. Unfortunately, .15 was released just after that, and the bug fixes between .14 and .15 effected the compatibility.
  20. Is RaceMenu going to get a 3.5 or 3.4.1 update to bring it compatible with SKSE64 ....15? I'm able to run with it on 3.4, but the functionality is degraded, and every time a save is loaded I get the same error that it is out of date with SKSE.
  21. Ok, so SKSE64 is updated. Is Race Menu being updated?
  22. Thank goodness. I was worried that it was just me. The first place I looked was at Silverlock, this was number two.
  23. I have reinstalled, and disabled version checking. The reinstall eliminated the "$" appearing on menu items, however; the MCM related crafting and map menus are showing up as vanilla, but are halfway off screen, just as they were previously with the SWF error being displayed. I am at a loss as to how to fix the issue.
  24. Since installing vortex, I've begun having errors with the crafting menus and map where I'm told that the swf is not compatible with the current SkyUI, and to update. I am using the most current SkyUI (5.1 - unless there's an update elsewhere that I don't see), and have been unable to fix the problem. I suspect that it's also connected to an issue where every menu displays "$" before every option item. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a known fix for the problem?
  25. I would absolutely die for an overhaul that transforms all models and graphics to look like they're made from Lego. The up side is that the geometries for the meshes would be super simplistic. I'm not sure, but I think that if the meshes are done right, any textures could still be used.
